Best TF story ever or overrated?
Lets have a chinwag about the first ever TF epic...

This was the point where I started reading the comics. I never got to see that cartoon much and I can safely say Target 2006 is what got me hooked on TF's.
It is still great today. The point where the UK comics truly come into their own. Seniors art is stunning. I wish they would get him to draw a spotlight issue.

I wonder if its after the time Furman got into Moore. The way some of Target 2006 is split into different stories through different characters eyes reminds me a bit of Watchmen. His writing definitely went up a major gear.
Apparently he declined to do so though.
The Spotlights would be a perfect vehicle for his talents.
Actually, what are they waiting for? They should ask Sullivan! Wildman! Yaniger too! Someone over there asleep at the wheel? (I think they did ask Trimpe)

It's Very Good!
It marked the dawn of new era of the UK standing on it's own two feet and it handled the whole mystique of the future bots&cons very well and it had some excellent plot twists in it, like the Autobots not being effective warriors without Prime's leadership so they have to turn to Megatron (although i don't agree with screamer being able to total megs and soundwave with one shot each) and the zombified Jazz quite upset me as a kid (especially when he knocks Brawn's (i think) jaw off... ouch!)
As to the spotlights, it's a shame if Senior has turned down the offer, that would've been fantastic... can we start a petition or something to change his mind?
i'm guessing Hitch is too busy these days too?
A few of the later artists who came in in the black and white era might be worth a chance if you ask me... the names fail me now tho...
But how about we get Jose wasisname in instead?

Oy, with the speed that Hitchy draws at these days the issue would come out in 2009... I love Hitch's art but the downside is that it takes him forever to finish stuff. Same thing went for Yaniger, and I'm as big a Yaniger fan as there is... but his extreme slowness was what resulted in the poor choice of hiring Manny Galan to copy his style.'m guessing Hitch is too busy these days too?
And while Target reeks of 80's comics conventions it is still one of the best TF stories, period. And for art, not much tops Senior's work on the big Magnus/Galvatron fight issue.

Could be a panel, a scene or even a whole comic.
No covers! In fact I've just started a topic:
