Is the question "how the movie will do?" or "how will the movie turn out?" ?

Because those are two completely different questions...

I expect it won't do well, as Bay's last film fared poorly, and the nostalgia-recognition factor has been damaged by the character models.

As for how it will be... well, I try not to pre-judge films until I've at least seen a trailer.

I run with 'dunno'. It might premier with a totally different script and be an excellent piece of character driven science fiction. My instincts tell me otherwise, as well as setting off several other alarm bells, but I'll still run with dunno.

I say it'll be utter crap as a TF movie, but it might bomb in the box office because of those who like movies such as ID4, Armageddon or Godzilla... and from what I hear from some collegues of mine, there are people who like these.

I'm voting for the 'dunno' option... it might not be total poo, but it's not gonna be a good transformers movie...

It's giant Transforming robots fighting. With lots of explosions. How do you think it's going fair? It's gonna be a box-office record methinks.

I expect it will be an average movie - with good special effects in places.
The plot will be utterly stupid and the general public will not be that interested as the reviews slate it.
Fans in parts will like some of the robots but in generall wont see the conection to 'thier' transformers they knew so well.

that's probably the biggest flaw with the movie from what i can tell so far... it's not that the TFs not only don't look like 'our' TFs... they don't look like any TF's i can think of, their whole style is just wrong.

I agree they don't look like any Transformers I have ever seen, they honestly look like they were designed by Todd McFarlane., but i think he would have the decency to make Megatron and Starscream look like Megatron and Starscream. and as far as boxoffice gose I don't know?
