Looks like no more of a woman than the "2nd generation" Tranformers like Springer and Hot Rod, to me.
Although definitely not an Optimus Prime. Much prefer the archivist thing.

Gah. And Pax got made into a toy already... even if it's a shoddy repaint...
Btw more and more people are picking up the 'Magnus and OP are brothers' thing and also that Magnus was Dion. One of the things DW got horribly, horribly wrong...

To be honest, it's not as much DW's fault as it is that ****** in the head part of the fandom's. You know, the one with all the stupid theories that you simply cannot prove and all the evidents usually state against said theories.BB Shockwave wrote:One of the things DW got horribly, horribly wrong...

I think the worst crime is that he looks like he is wearing a figure hugging jumper.
It makes him look a tad wet... Not leadership material EVER.
People responsible for this laughing stock should be kicked squarely up the cock.
Now... Is this guy's design better or worse then the 'apparent' designs in the new film?

His head and face looks kinda like Blurrs, if you compare them...
I have a friend who draws almost as good as Don (well OK, not AS good but good... ) and started drawing a TWW comic prequel, in Don's style - he even talked with him about the art and Don liked it.
Now, I read his scripts and commented here and there... but was shocked when I found out he wanted to make Optronix (or what's his name) be Orion Pax first, and did all sorts of inconsitencies (like making all Cons able to fly and Megs using the Robo-Smasher -anyone remembers that bad plot?) just to recreate the scene where Orion Pax stands up to Megatron's force and being rebuilt by Alpha Trion to Optronix (and of course, Dion becomes Magnus and Pax's girlfriend, whatshername become Elita-1... )...
It pains me to see one such a good artist - and such an intelligent guy - prefer the kiddy, idiotic cartoon storylines and creation theories.
In time his scripts went soo off from the continuity of the TWW stories (and generally, only Grimlock and Prowl remained true to their comic personalities) that I've given up commenting the scripts...
It went soo off into a Quintesson-A3 creation origin, up to some characters commenting on the "great war" between the 'consumer goods and military hardware... I've given up when it started introducing characters so fast that all the Gestalts were around by the second storyline...
oh and he liked that Soundwave never talked in DW... and decided to go with it in his comics. The horror...

Look man, he was young, he was merely experimenting. He was trying to get back at his dad for not accepting him. It was only a phase.snarl wrote:**** me, this ****:

I'd say there's a good chance considering that Alpha Trion is just Scourge after a makeover by Trinny and Suzzanah and that Kup's vehicle mode was used for Beachcombers Cybertronian mode in the comic at about the same time. With the movie in production I'm guessing certain lazy peeps just reched over the desk, grabed a charecter model and changed the colours a bit for non-toy guest stars...BB Shockwave wrote:His head and face looks kinda like Blurrs, if you compare them...
