Anybody care to explain why there is a Grapple lookalike in MTMTE Part One who never transforms and is never seen again named Hauler?

Grapple was 'hauling' at the time so he was referred to as a hauler.

(frankly I never thought I'd see a page dedicated to the memory of Crosscut. Yet apparently I wans'T the only one who liked him and all the hi-then-die chars in those Bob stories.

Indeed not. That site is one of my all-time favourite TF-related sites. All that cool stuff about neglected characters. It's a shame it's not been updated for a couple of years.

Cool site, yes. But the actual reason is probably more boring. Like they thought they'd use him more in season one than they did since the toys came first, but they didn't. So eventually they decided the name "Grapple" was cooler. Zzzzzz...I know, boring conclusion.

Alright...I like that site's explanation better so we'll go with that.
