i think if anything IDW are deliberatly ploughing ahead with their own stuff before they even think about concluding the outstanding series - it makes far more sense for them to establish themselves as an independant creative force with their own direction first.

Yeah, that's what I meant too, just phrased it wrong.

About issue 1., I only think it's a bit hasty to introduce pretty much all the non-show characters at once.

I wonder if we'll see Injector. Weirdest BW toy ever...
