My idea is to take one character from each TF 'genre', and I came up with the following categories:
-G1 cartoon (from s1 to rebirth, including movie, can be any cartoon char., including Quints, Junkions, etc.)
-G1 Marvel US comic (all issues, plus Headmasters - US versions of characters only, like 'Captain Caveman' Grimlock or Galvatron 2 - but since the Furman takover other Grimlock/Shockwave etc. too. Also comic-only chars who debutted here (Scrounge, Straxus, Circuit-Breaker)
-G1 Marvel UK comic (UK versions of characters who appeared only there, like Galvatron I., Carnivac, and UK only chars like Flame, Impactor, etc.)
-G2 Era (comic, toys, ect. Repaints don't count...)
-Beast Era (BW, BM cartoons only - or BW/BM toy characters)
-Japanese cartoons (broad area, from Headmasters chars (Sixshot, Soundblaster) through Victory to Rid. Includes BW 2 and Neo)
-Armada era (from ARmada to Cybertron (and beyond?). Includes cartoon and DW comic versions, like talking Mini-Cons)
-Fan-made characters (includes BotCon chars, fanfic chars and even DW's creations like Sunstorm)
My roster:
-G1 cartoon: Grimlock.
He'd be the laughing stock of the show. Later he'd discover how cool he is in the comics and would try to emulate "Badass" G. and fail...-G1 US: Shockwave. The (seemingly) emotionless and cold Con leader.
-G1 UK: Impactor. Major badass and macho-bot, he'll usually die every episode.
-G2 Era: Laser Optimus Prime. Typical prime, selfless and goody-good, though he likes to show off and will hate black repaints with a passion.
-Beast Era: Megatron. Scheming and likes to turn the others against each other for fun. And has a hidden agenda. Oh yesss....
-Japanese Cartoon: Star Saber. Noble Prime-wannabe and japanese stereotype, holds hour-long speeches about honor, the only thing that lasts longer is his transformation sequence.
-Armada era: Armada Hot Shot. Young idiot on a never-ending quest to collect 'em all Mini-cons. Impressionable and foolish, but has potential for... ah, to become even more annoying.
-Fan chars: Nightracer. They first Con femme-bot who thinks she's so special and is in for a suprise finding that no-one knows about her.
