I remember that the first time or so I saw that movie when I was a kid, it was at the part where Unicron is physically tearing apart Cybertron, Shockwave is ordering the Decepticon soldiers to attack and he gets crushed by a piece of falling debris. Yet the most recent time I watched that movie that didn't happen. Does anybody else know about that thing?

Acctually, no. I don't remember that, and I rewatched it like a year or so ago. (I didn't acctually have the opportunity to see it until only 2.5 years ago! )

I think it's just one of those tricks of the mind, that one can have sometimes, when your memories get a bit clouded. Shockers was never seen again in the series tho, to my knowledge.

'Twas originally scripted that Unicron himself would crush Shockwave though I don't think it was animated.

Yeah, iirc, Unicron is meant to crush the Con command tower, with Shockers inside it. Fortunately it was never animated, so Shocker's got to live! :)

Well he appeared a couple of times miscolored (like in FFOD). Originally he was meant to be destroyed in that scene, but not by fallen debris, but as Legion said.

in the scene where shockers says "decepticons! were under attack, scramble" - the room shockers is standing looks as if the celing or debris is falling in on him.

He had a miscolored return funnily colored like the common (at least here in europe) Galaxy Gun version of the toy, light grey!

And I swear, I saw a Shockwave colored as a Constructicon appear too somewhere in FFOD 2 or 3, too.
