Non-Comic Decepticons

Right, I'm writing a Middle Years era fic (many of you know this already - it's taken many forms and evolved lots, but it's now actually reaching fruition) and basically need to know who I'm free to use and abuse as I please.
I know Sixshot was never in the comics, nor were two of the Deluxe Insections.
A whole bunch of Actionmasters, that's fair game and always fun.
Did Wingspan and Pounce crop up in the Headmasters mini? Or anywhere else?
Anybody else? I might kill Fangry for the hell of it. Because that's always fun.
Help me and receive credit in an exectutive consultant capacity*
Pleeeeeeeeease.
* - Like ******* hell you will.

clones didn't pop up anywhere.
Reflector is an obvious one, as are slugfest Sqwalk talk, Beast Box and overkill.
Roadblock
Roadgrabber.

Pretender Monstors only ever appeared in an alt universe so they are game.
Seascons were apparently on Cybertron before coming to earth.
Then you got your e-hobby types, like Magnificus.
That's it really - apart from Micro's and Action Masters.
Oh, and Gnaw.
Quite impressive how many characters made some sort of appearence really.

Aaah, Reflector. Generic cannon-fodder if ever it were.Reflector is an obvious one, as are slugfest Sqwalk talk, Beast Box and overkill.
This blighter I already have down for a key role, though technically he's an Autobot.Counterpunch
******* excellent point. And one that can tie in well... maybePretender Monstors only ever appeared in an alt universe so they are game.

True, but I find myself taking the approach of "why should I take the time thinking up new characters when there are already dozens of blighters who never got time on-page?"
If I kill them off in the past, it can help explain why we don't see them in the future! Or something. I don't know. I want instantly recognisable people for dramatic impetus! Or something.
Trotting out somebody new is telegraphing the death... or whatever.

Re: Non-Comic Decepticons
-Sixshot has lot of potential. I always imagined him asa freelancer, working for the highest bidder, since he's so powerfull he doesn't really have to take orders from anyone.Brendocon wrote:Right, I'm writing a Middle Years era fic (many of you know this already - it's taken many forms and evolved lots, but it's now actually reaching fruition) and basically need to know who I'm free to use and abuse as I please.

Don't forget some cool UK exclusive guys, Take-off, Charger (who's like an even more evil version of Slag) and Slicer, umm, Wheeljack's evil clone.A whole bunch of Actionmasters, that's fair game and always fun.
Nope..Did Wingspan and Pounce crop up in the Headmasters mini? Or anywhere else?
Don't make me Fangry. You wouldn't like me when I'm Fangry...Anybody else? I might kill Fangry for the hell of it. Because that's always fun.
The Pretender Monsters are cool. Slog and Icepick especially, writing Cons who doubt what they do is always fun.
Overlord... of course the Powermaster process was not discovered back then.
Also show Thunderwing as a promising liutenant somewhere. And it would be nice to show Ratbat's rise to power.
Sounds like you're going 'Furminator' already...If I kill them off in the past, it can help explain why we don't see them in the future! Or something. I don't know. I want instantly recognisable people for dramatic impetus! Or something.
