i don't tbh, lots of folk on Klo are clearly full on dead.
really? it's been a while since i've looked at that issue, i'll have to go back and take a look as i don't remember seeing anyone that mashed up (ie scorponok mashed up)... (certainly not anyone that we later see revived)...

Yeah, I was always wondering if the 'merging' thing that happened to Hi-Q (effectively becoming Prime in a Nebulan body) was happening to all Head/Powermasters also - the dominant personality was taking over and gradually becoming the main identity. And if it could go the other way - if Scorponok was effectively Lord Zarak in a big robot body (with claws for hands!).
And that someone like Highbrow would eventually have a complete irrevocable I'm-nuts-me breakdown as he always seemed to be actively fighting becoming one with Gort. He'd go schizo. If he didn't get himself and one of his mates killed by being so utter crap, that is.
The idea that the ones left all got fused is interesting. Would have liked to have seen some more Decepticon head/powermaster guys around that time.

Have we done people like Gears, Huffer and Windcharger yet?

i kind of er towards the notion that where the personalities were compatible then they tended to merge into one coherent being (i think there is an arguement that Zarak and Scorps were compatible in the sesne that they were kinda good for each other, Zarak awoke SCorps honour while SCorps provided Zarak with courage and both seem to have had a slightly twisted notion of responsibility that manages to straighten itself out towrads the end). (Man i freaking love Scorponok).

Otherwise they just remained 2 seperate beings with slightly enhanced abilities..for...some...reason.

Then again maybe it as only power masters? Or maybe it was something to do with Prime bieng the plot device bearer?

Ah, but Optipuss Plimsol didn't have the plot device at that point, infact he'd never carried it in his powermaster form.

and as for Grimmers, i've always put that down to him being the only bot who wasn't deactivated when he fueled up on it...

Yup, just look at the pic of them lying around in pieces (and Battletrap playing soccer with some Bot's head). Plus Getaway got a rocket point blank... and he WAS revived, we saw him in G2.

Back on topic, does anyone dislike Omega Supreme? Imean, in Marvel, he's the strongest Autbot for a while and well, did he do anything after scrapping Megs' team? I'd loved to see him toe-to toe with Trypticon. Of course, this is more of Bob's fault.

Also, Omega - scrapped by Buzzsaw. Shame! I bet no-one believes poor Buzzsaw when he brags about this.

Yeah.

Best HGW moment: Dinobot Hunt!

Showing a realistic approach to a team on the hunt.

Ratchet.

Pointless.
Logic dictates there is no place for such emotionalism in a Decepticon commander. Nor is there room for incompetence.

You what?!

Ratchet, who, singlehandedly saved all the Autobots from the clutches of Shockwave. Ratchet who rescued the Dinobots from their tarpit grave. Ratchet who singlehandedly defeated Megatron how many times?

Pointless, no.

I never liked him. He never quite fit in with what he was doing. He was supposed to be a medic, yet possessed amazing fighting skills, even though he didn`t seem to know what he was doing with them in the first place...

Hold on. Are you saying his character... developed? And it wasn't as straight forward as it first seemed?

Damn those unpredictable and somewhat deep Ratchet stories!

I want a story about a transformer whose attitudes are rigid, and you can predict his every action with unerring precision! I want Cartoon Grimlock!

I personally loved his characterization in Transformers Vs GI Joe #3

He was simply.. The Autobot

and he was a bad ass :)
