They're getting ready to launch.

Grimlock must have taken advantage of the recent krasching of oil-derricks to discreetly take them over in short interwalls and steal some oil for energon.

Bloody git's probably indirectly raising the oil-price even more, takes a lotta oil to make all'a them cubes.
