Galaxy force animation annoyance

Am I the only person who reeeally hates the animation in GF? The melding of CGI and cell animation is alright... tho very clunky imo. My problem is the mouths. They don't open and shut properly (or even lip sync) they just flick between open and closed. grr!

be nice to lose the 'im announcing what I'm doing as I'm doing it' shtick too. Even in Japanese they stop doing that after a little while generally.

It does look quite odd, from what I gather, Gonzo have only ever animated mechs , generally without mouths etc.. I'm sure they will improve.

What disturbs me more is the USA dub of GF, half of the characters are Austrailian!

Not in Pokemon or Digimon they don't. ;)

(oddly, Digimon is acctually quite decent now innit? Good even, in some parts)

Pokemon and Digimon represent about 1% of Japan's animation output and imo are designed solely to be sold to idiotic Westerners who just aren't interested in some of the absolute genius anime which has been made.

Not as clunky as it used to be in the mid-nineties Iron Man cartoon. Anyone remember that? Hideous.
Logic dictates there is no place for such emotionalism in a Decepticon commander. Nor is there room for incompetence.

Ugh, not to mention the plots of the episodes..

I have no problems with the Cybertron animation, other then that they should have really done better facial animation. It could have been worse- poor Galvatron had to be grinning all the way thourgh all the episodes of BW 2...

The mouth animation bugged me at first, but I got over it, because I like the way the rest of it looks.
