Well, I don't know how you in the UK or USA had it, but when the time came in Hungary for Starscream's Marvel TFU profile to appear, his was published in past tense... like, "Starscream WAS a powerful and ambitious Decepticon" or "...why Megatron toleratED his existence". That was done, because at the time, SS was dead, blown up by the Underbase.
Still, his profile was published in the same issue with Ratbat's, and Ratty was in present tense...
Also, quite ironically, one issue later that SS's 'post mortem' profile was puslished, he was revived by Ratchet in the "All the familiar faces" story. Guess the editor didn't realise that in a comic, no-one stays dead for long. Well except Scrounge. Poor Scrounge...
Just wondering if this is a Hungarian rarity, or anyone else had it this way? Ozz? Iknow you had the comics quite the same way in Poland too...

We didn't got Starscream's profile. After omitting those twenty issues in the middle of Budiansky's run, there were couple of Universe profiles of Transformers whose names started with P and R, and then we started to got those new ones which were printed in the issues after Furman started writing the series and the stories got short.

The A to Z pages in the UK comic were usually present tense, even if the character was dead (and a lot of them were after Underbase).
One note of interest was that they didn't print Bumblebee's profile at all, presumably as by that point he was Goldbug.
The A to Z files were basically lifted from the Transformers Universe, but small changes were often made to them. Grimlock and Megatron I think had a slightly different spin on them.
I'd like to include A to Zs as extras in our comic guide one day.
