Got this from LitG. Look at http://www.dreamengine.ca/ it's gone live (and has sounds).
And it is a temple to self-obsession, PR-gobbledycrap, too much wank-induced blindness (Pat's profile lists him as a member of the House of the Iron Snake and lists his OMG newest NINJA!!11 skill as Venemous Brush) and frankly, mounds and mounds of ****.

So, did the stolen profits from Dreamwave (stolen from the pockets of the employees that is) help pay for that website or was it mommy & daddy lending a helping bank account?
*[composite word including 'f*ck'] you Pat.*

Muchas gracias to Mob for the Sig, proving why he's called 'King'.
The "i" in "Señior" from "Señior's Covenant" is intentional and part of a stupid & cheesy inside joke from '02. Thank you for your concern.

looks like Pat himself did the web build, judging by the quality of the html code... it's quite shocking... and the entire page is in flash, bad bad bad...
*yawn*
next...
although, quite funnily, when i clicked on the "principles" link, i get presented with a blank page! mwahahahah...
[edit] correction: the site's apparently owned by roger lee, so it was probably him who did the build, pat probably just told him what colours to use.
plus, they've owned the name since the beginning of last december, when did DW go tits up again?
heheh, i've now also got their address, oooh the joys of a little bit of technie knowledge

I acctually find it to be rather cool really.
There's a few things to work out, such as making the menus bigger and more visible, and make some of the icons easier to click by acctually having them stand still, but the general concept look good to me.
Doesn't mean I'm the biggest fan of the company all of a sudden, mind you all.
And what's wrong with all flash? Me love flash.
Well, I suppose they could have a little sign if you don't have flash, prior to entering it, that it's required.

I really like how Roger Lee dislikes "dishonesty and greed"

the quotes are very up there own arse.
Pats Work in places is great, but he cant draw Transformers, he can draw tho. and should be credited for this, I allways felt his strengths lay with non technicall illustrations and more with fluid organics like humans and such.
His tecnicall Illustrations look like every other JPN styled robot manga from the late 80's-90's. Id like to point ppl attention for mecha towards Appleseed, not the old one but the new Half CGI, half hand drawn DVD.
The Flash content of the site, the spinny main interface isnt very memory efficant, and the roll-overs work on a very small target area - they should use invisible target areas the same size as the finnished target area, and also have a priority over which image first in use so that it doesnt become confused between two.
The rest of the site I quite like, but it doesnt need to be flash based at all - some englargment feature would also be nice.
Oh and better yet, paying his debts too!

Innovative concepts and unique ideas such as:Prior to joining Dream Wngine Inc., Pat Lee was President of Dreamwave Productions Inc., bringing innovative concepts and unique ideas to the comic book world
- not paying your staff
- driving wildly successful brands into the ground
- channelling profits from your work into a speate company when its not looking so good
- and of course tidal waves that kill nobody (hello!)
what a c***. i mean really, what a c***. And newsarama should be ashamed. As should Marvel.
I like how he claims to have "relaunched" brands like, oh, BATMAN.Best First wrote: - driving wildly successful brands into the ground
Yeah, coz the Bat brand was in such danger until you came along Pats.
The complete lack of selfawaria in any part of the website's text, plus the OMG KEwWl I R teh NiNjitsuMan!1 stuff...you really do have to see it to believe it.
Maybe that's why the site designer (who Pat and Roger probably found in the local coffee-shop) stuck it all in Flash.
And suddenly it makes sense. They thought they could pay their artists in words! It is often said, “A picture is worth a thousand words,” and at Dream Engine, we embody that spirit in full-force.
"Great picture."
"Thanks. Now, about the bill."
"What? I just paid you in praise!"
If hyperbole were currency, Dreamwave would still be afloat today.
Grrr. Argh.
