OK I found this pic and wondered how a battle of this size would map out. It's been a while since I've seen one of these. But then I haven't been posting much lately.

Who's gonna win, Decepticons or Autobots? Who are the casualties and who are left standing tall?

Personally I think it's the 'bots until Galvatrons arrival and then it's the 'cons until Metroplex stomps on to the scene.

What do you guys think?

I think I can't see the image and when I try to copy and paste the link it tells me it cannot be found. Then I have to quickly click three times in a row to get back or it once again will redirect me to tell me it cannot be found. Truly a battle, perhaps not royale. [/arse]

Well, since it seems as if the bots doesnt have a Prime in place, I think the cons will have the upper hand in the beginning of the fight, but if Ultra Magnus and Silverbolt can keep most of them alive until Metroplex shows up they'll win without a doubt.

We've all seen what Metroplex can do when he puts his mind to it, and in a situation like this he'll do his best. The cons don't have any Trypticon to go, so they're toast. All the autobots needs is a little bit of luck.

This is how I see it

Magnus V Galvy

Triple changers V triple changers

protectorbots V COmbaticons

Arielbots V stunticons

then it gets unbalanced

autbot cars V Decepticon planes

left over is

Metroplex, dinobots, jetfire and the minis V Triplechangers

So Autobot win!

I've got piles of these 'catalogue' sheets somewhere - ah, happy memories.
And an old Hasbro product catalogue from around the time of Metroplex and the Special Teams.

Only by having Metroplex and the Dinobots the Autobots have the edge because of the others forces that are more than even.

Considering there are about twice as many autobots, metroplex, the dinobots, magnus AND the triple changers I think it's pretty obvious they'll trash all the decepticons except galvatron- who'll probably scream and run into a wall or something before ordering the retreat.

huh- this would be quite a cool fight actually.

well, minus metroplex it would - Cyc, Scourge and Galvy could account for a lot of the bot's, but equally Ultra MacDaddy, The Dino's, The Wreckers and Jets could mash up some cons.

Plus Gestalt fight in the background.

Autobots also have Ratchet who could a) patch them up and b) probably beat Galvatron by kicking him off a cliff for old times sake.

Probably wanna put some blond in a tight pink t-shirt in danger to make sure Mags gets his war on though. Plus, blond in tight pink t-shirt. shizzle.

So... Autobot's win.

Or Plex gets involved and the bot's really win.

Altho sadly wheely gets really, really killed.

But Pipes survives in all scenarios. Cos i love Pipes.

autobots, unless it's T:2006 Galvy (i.e. not the mad one) and then i think it'd be a close call, until Metroplex turned up, so unless Galvy pulled something out of the bag, it'd still be autobots...

Of course, in 1984-85 the the Autobots had about double the troops... I always thought the cartoon was quite unbalanced, Megs had so few troops,natural that the Bots always beat him.

Of course, in Marvel, Shockwave killed all the Bots with one shot, evening the odds. Good old One-eye...

Magnus has is war on in teh catalogue - you can tell.

I think Galvy has his sex-face on, and thus will kill all the bots - par Metroplex, in this case he will just stop him from transforming by blowing up the 'transformation lever' - that someone is required to pull in times of utter dire needs, which generally means everyone might be ****** and thus cant pull the lever. Metroplex being sentient just has to sit there like a gimp not being able to transform because no one has tugged his dick

Bruticus' lack of a head may be a disadvantage tho (anyone else notice that? bugged me when i was little!)

Heh, forget to use his head... Still, better then on the 1991 Euro catalogue, there he had Superion's head and Brawl's turret instead of Onslaught. We had these quirks, like Hero Optimus (Sureshot)'s head being reversed...
