SDCC - Hasbro Panel "Transformers the Movie" Promo Trailer

We here at TFW2005.COM are proud to present to everyone who was unable to make it to this year's San Diego Comic Con a chance to witness what those who were lucky enough to go witnessed at the Hasbro Panel.
http://tfw2005.com/
Please keep in mind all of the CGI things you see are PRE-PRODUCTION, UN-FINALIZED, SIMPLY CONCEPTUAL designs and storyboard-ish. None of it is final. None of these characters may actually appear in the movie. It was just done for promotional use and possible concept-design stuff. Yeah, stuff. We apologize for the use of Paul Oakenfield's unpopular Transformers theme remix (unpopular as by the vocal crowd of the boards), and for those that attempted to sing the original Transformers theme song and never thought millions could download their renditions.

Enjoy!

There wasn't much footage there that we haven't all seen before, but the Soundwave helicoter was kinda cool.

This is truly a fascinating time. Seeing Steven fricking Spielberg talking about the Transformers really brought it home.

Is it the best of times? Is it the worst of times? Is this a time where our love will be shared to reciprocated by the world, where Transformer toys will be like Pokemon, and the Transformers Movie will FINALLY launch TF lore into the realm of accepted SF? Or is this a time where the source material will be butchered, the amount of repaints and move tie ins will be nauseous and overdone, and the movie does Hulk-like (Or even worse, Starship Troopers) box office numbers, crushing all plans of sequels?

No doubt a subject that will be debated hotly these next two years. You can already see the lines in the sand in the fandom.

Whatever the case, I can assure you, I will be here to see it, Best will NOT buy the toy, Autobloke will have a joke, and Denyer will come out of nowhere with some utterly obscure but inescapably needed bit of knowledge.

Butchered, but 'the public' will lap it up, and that canon will be forever imprinted in their minds as the 'real deal' Transformers. Don't get me wrong - I'm sure the film will _look_ great, but I hate the dumb cartoon-fan pleasing angles that've been planned for this flick, so far.

Yours furiously,

Whatever makes you think that? :)
So, these three blokes walk into a bar, each carrying a different type of fruit. The big guy has a melon, the medium-sized guy has an orange, and the little guy has a grape. The barman looks at them and asks 'what's with the fruit?'
The three men all reply as one 'I don't know - this whole thing is coming randomly out of Autobloke's fetid brain'.

And let's hope it doen't go the way of Pokemon - the latest movie (no.5) came straight onto DVD at £5.99 - not exactly kudos there.

There's where I am until proven otherwise.

Muchas gracias to Mob for the Sig, proving why he's called 'King'.

The "i" in "Señior" from "Señior's Covenant" is intentional and part of a stupid & cheesy inside joke from '02. Thank you for your concern.

Yeah, but I thought it was pretty cool. especially the part where the TF transforms and puts a human down on the ground.
