And I thought WE had a strict language filter.Robert Zemeckis considered directing, but p***ed long ago.
Spielberg wants an 80s Amblin' "Back to the Future" tone, with a "Jur***ic Park" brachiosaur moment as a big reveal.
wtf.Mark Hamill and Michael J. Fox are current fan favorites to play Starscream and Bumblebee, respectively.
Get people who don't hate Transformers to make a Transformers movie? Genius! Many of the writers, producers, etc. were fans of the comics and TV show in the 80s.
Just when I had blocked that fact from my mind.....Don is going to show some fan-made DVDs of favorite TF moments to Bay.
I know Spielberg is God, but I'm not sure he as an individual has been incorporated.Spielberg has become a major corporate driving force in the production.

And he played a nutty Joker-like character in the 'Flash' telemovies. That were some fun film.Best First wrote:Hamill is ace as the Joker in BTAS, think he could do a good screamer.
How many people really knew that Fox was the voice of Stewart Little or that Hamill has done cartoon voices for loads of shows? Did anyone really care about all of the famous voices touted about during the advertising of Shark's Tale (although that film sucked)? Hell, if I hadn't already known that it was Jack black as the main shark, I'd not have twigged it - he didn't even sound like himself (which was a blessed relief).spiderfrommars wrote:I'm not one for using famous names for something like this (its got to be about the character, not actor) but I've got to admit that would be spot on casting.

"I...can't stop Megatron on....my own..."[/Peter Cullen-esque voice]Autobloke wrote:The Voice of the Matrix?
I think it'll be alright, talk of a third movie with Unicron in it, CGI series to beef up the storyline, Fox and Hamill both work for me.Autobloke wrote:I just meant that I won't win anyone to my side of 'it might turn out okay'.
I'm not angry, fella.
