The Stubbies were UK Marvel Grimlock-speak for the people who actually put the comic together. Geoff Senior, Bob Budiansky, Simon Furman, Andy Wildman, Steve White...all of these people were Dumb Stubbies at one time or another, though Furman was also Grimlock...

Man, damn my memory. I read the link when it was posted, but didn't post a reply until much later - by which time I'd completely forgotten about the Magnus stuff. :roll:
I'm having one of those weeks - I rang my mother to ask her something this morning, just before remembering that she was actually upstairs in the same house as me.
