Yeah, his humans were one of the things I liked the most and was surprised about the most in Tokyo Storm Warning. These here look equally good.spiderfrommars wrote:Funny how Raiz can draw good humans on there.

sorry, guess i got distrcated by all your other whining.Predabot wrote: Eh?? You talkin' about me? I'm acctually one of the people, who despite it being simplistic acctually sorta likes that one. Even tho the light-bulbs in his antennae is somewhat odd.
Raiz's human's are decent, aamzing to think we were all saying that he couldn't draw them when it came to Armada. Further proof of the editorial ineptness at DW.

I, for one, think it looks far better. Perhaps down the road IDW could do a special b&w issue. Something about uncolored art really looks beautiful to me sometimes. Still think the Decepticons from the cover look a bit bulky however.Predabot wrote:Allright, after seeing the pencil-version of the Raiz-cover I think it looks slightly better. Hmm...
And I still don't care for the Shockwave cover at all.
Muchas gracias to Mob for the Sig, proving why he's called 'King'.
The "i" in "Señior" from "Señior's Covenant" is intentional and part of a stupid & cheesy inside joke from '02. Thank you for your concern.

That's exactly what I said over at IDW!Predabot wrote:Allright, after seeing the pencil-version of the Raiz-cover I think it looks slightly better. Hmm...
I reckon they're just covering all the bases by putting out covers with different styles - if someone won't buy the mag because they don't like the cover, don't worry - here's a different cover that you may like instead.
And yeah, I was harsh. So what? IDW put those covers up there for a reason: to get feedback. If some of that is negative, at least it means we're taking an interest and not going 'meh' and just logging off.

Excellent. Cheers for the link.
Personally, I love seeing comic pencils...I've even started collecting originals. Absolutely lovely stuff, it just draws your eye in.
Esp as one of my co-workers just does that constantly about seemingly everything. I walked into the office yesterday and could hear him from around the corner, mid-rant. Having to listen to it for most of the working day was tedious enough, now the fecker starts before I even sit down!
Oh, totally. I don't mind B+W art at all and prefer it over bad or flashy colouring....many of the best comics I've ever read are B+W.Covenant wrote:Something about uncolored art really looks beautiful to me sometimes.

Exactly. I don't think anyone has an issue with reasoned, constructive criticism. It's just whining that cannot be discussed or doesn't seem based on anything other than preconcieved prejudices that I find irrelevant and tedious to wade through.Autobloke wrote:And yeah, I was harsh.
