As long as you don't profit from it, I'm pretty sure it is.
That sounds like hella fun.

The thing that always amazed me was that given all the constant association of one with the other, that more G.I.Joe and Cobra vehicles weren't used in standard Transformer designs maybe not from the start but later on in a regular basis kind of way. I never had a problem with G.I.Joe comics, provided they weren't a huge factor in a Transformer comic and more just a small variable in a particular story. I never was one for the crossovers, not enough grape-stomping for me to buy it (on a couple of levels). Other than the color scheme, I do rather like what they managed with Megatron in Generation 2, though I was hoping for a form of HISS tank to be honest.
Muchas gracias to Mob for the Sig, proving why he's called 'King'.
The "i" in "Señior" from "Señior's Covenant" is intentional and part of a stupid & cheesy inside joke from '02. Thank you for your concern.

But then he could only be a 'robot in disguise' in the Cobra carpark.Señior's Covenant wrote:I was hoping for a form of HISS tank to be honest.
The only good thing about TF/GI Joe crossovers were the interesting new TF designs -especially the radically departed alt modes (and people are complaining about IDW's possible minor alt changes).

Bah, slaggin' logic.
Though regardless of the tank type, there's really and truly only so many places a tank can be covert. Plus, given the color scheme he had... ...well, might as well have been a flashing neon green sign that says "OUT OF PLACE" sitting on a white building.
This is all ignoring the fact that given the nature of the Decepticons and the way they tend to go about things, that if they were into espionage there was really no reason for oddly colored alt. modes that disguised them at all.

Well, I always attributed the alt. modes to nothing more than a physical facade, nothing really that affected their abilities beforehand. I think the comic made mention of that at least once or twice.

But if Megs wasn't a handgun back on Cybertron, surely becoming one on Earth must have reduced his offensive abilites somewhat in alt mode. Maybe becoming a tank was his idea of reclaiming his old power, but he still felt that a normal Earth tank might be an advantage in the future, instead of a HISS that might stand out.

He blasted the friggin' walls royally when entering tho.
I suppose it's not all that important to TF's tho. They have no true fear of the vacum of space, and decompression is apparently not a problem either. Megs just needed the craft to hold together until they got to Earth.
Hence, bang, bang, BANG!
Don't we just all love it how he finishes off Ironhide permanently in that shuttle?

The Megs is my fave.
I luuuuurrrrrve the way the design of his torso and thighs echoes parts of the Decepticon symbol. An iffy idea but Don makes it work with such grace.
I dislike Joe/TF crossovers - tho Ancient Relics is neat - but I'm a fan of the Joes.
Cobri-La sucked, however. Mightily.
Thinking of picking up the Joe movie, there's a shop selling the DVD for a fiver....I'm thinking it's worth it just for the Cobra Commander scenes...
