Ironically, I think Dreamwave's second GI Joe/TF crossover showed a lot of potential.

I can't even remember buying it. Was there only one issue released? The artwork was easier on the eye.

There was only one issue released I believe (POSSIBLY TWO), and it was extremely light on the TF and heavy on the Joe. I much preferred DDP's Joe/TF.

The first one was better.

Couldn't stand the Devil's Due crossovers to be honest.

I thought the first DW one was a very intruiging curiosity. A lot of work went into it visually and the script was action packed... shame about the end.

Was that the one set in WWI or WWII times or something like that?

Muchas gracias to Mob for the Sig, proving why he's called 'King'.

The "i" in "Señior" from "Señior's Covenant" is intentional and part of a stupid & cheesy inside joke from '02. Thank you for your concern.

Yeah. I commend DW for actually trying something different there. Certainly not to everyone's tastes I admit.

Well, some art was too blacked out to comprehend in some areas. And I was definitely let down by a few events and especially the ending. Other than that, yeah, I guess that read I had at the store was a decent attempt. I certainly liked the idea of the time period it was taking place in apparently.

Didn't he say the designs were for a rejected project he personally pitched? Which got turned down/killed by DW going under I presume.

Don't mean to say we won't see 'em again some time, but I doubt it, now he's shown them.

The first DD TF/Joe series was dire. I wish I hadn't bought it. So I didn't start on the next one. Or the second DW one, but I liked the first one, precisely becuase it was different. I like different takes on things, and change. But yeah, whole series utterly let down by the last issue.
I still think that was appallingly rewritten, um, I mean 'edited' by McBrick.
