I have been in TV shows where pictures of Transformers are shown very quickly, giving the illusion of movement. Animation, if you will.

My mistake, I misunderstood the clue - I thought it was a comment on those Japanese animation quirks where a picture is panned around.
I also forgot it was G1 here, as I've done many times.

Now that is a good idea - it makes more sense than just restricting things to G1. And would make it more difficult - although we could just ask 'are you RID?' etc. Of course, toy discussions would preclude any comic-only characters.
It'd be cool to have a topic that clocks up thousands of posts too.
