I really cannot believe what i have just read...

Karl, I think you were very brave for writing that post and it really highlights how much of a **** Don Murphy is.

I am shocked. It is truly sad to see my favourite series left in the hands of a neanderthal who cannot respond to well made points with intelligent answers, but with insults instead.

I don't think I can see this film on principle now.

Just to second all of the above - well done Karl

At least you've demonstrated that there is no point anyone trying further rational argument.

However, I think I see a sport here.....reading the rest of the thread was like a particularly bad Bevis and Butthead script. ykno the old 'infinate number of monkeys produceing the entire works of Shakespear'? Well perhaps a finite number of 'stooges' can produce a Bevis & Butthead script if properly prompted! Karl, just nip back and say 'penis' to see if it works

From what I saw, there are fans of both cartoon and comic there. And it doesn't look like he's listening only to the former.

And from what I saw there's a change going on over there recently. The attitude of Murphy is slowly going from, "Let your voice as fans be represented here on my discussion board! We're listening! It appears the director Bay has been rumored as saying there will be no original (cartoon) voices in this film, and that Optimus Prime may be voiced by George Clooney. Whether that be true or not, here's a couple of instantaneous reactions from Don's board.

This probably means Soundwave won't sound like Soundwave.

But let me just state that this fan wont watch this movie if cullen and Welker AINT cast.

So far, that's been my general impression too. There's even a guy that balls-hard advocates for the appearance of Bludgeon there! Even tho it makes minimal sence in an origin-movie.

I will be sending and trying to call Mr Spielberg from now on to point out that this **** of a producer is a homophobic racist. ergo should have no involement with a Dreamworks production connected to MR.S good name.

I will also at the same time be telling Don that via friends I am going on a misson to make sure 'his' TF film becomes the most famous film to ever be copied and mass produced across the internet.
It will set such a precdent that it will be like the legality of the MP3 on the internet.

I like the way some nut said "there's no such thing as homophobia, it's about disgust, not fear", as if the fact that it is incorrectly-named has any bearing on whether it exists or not!

Also, the way he seems so certain that EmVee got his confirmation email, because obvsiouly, Don's board system is totally infallible.

And that bit about Australia not having any guns because they're illegal.

Be fair, i am actually dyslexic... not that I care, supposedly you only need have the first and last letter correct in a word.... so 1 out of 2 aint bad

It's probably worthless doing a protest against him really, but could we maybe stage a mini one here? We could blank out any coverage or news regarding the film. We dont have to make a song and dance out of it, just do it graciously...If several other websites did the same thing it would highlight how much of an ass Murphy is...
