Over the last 25 years the Transformers have appeared in media from the exquisite to the scribbled and been licensed to the responsible and the... Pat Lee. Discussion of all the branches of TF media within!

BW back on Five.

That's right - those people at Five (or Channel 5 if you aren't a spod) have deemed the beasts to be worth repeating. They started with ep1 of the first season last week (sorry - I didn't know it was on), and will be showing the rest every Saturday at 10.55am.
Let's just hope they continue the episodes after season 1 has finished - I really wanted to record 'Aftermath', and those b'stards stopped showing the series at the end of the first season.
I'm certain we've all seen/own the eps by now, but I just thought someone may want to know anyway.

They got as far as Aftermath, did they? I wasn't aware of that!

I remember they spent the whole of 2003 showing the entire series, then started again at the start of 2004, then partway through the first season they suddenly stopped.

And as far as I was aware, didn't carry on.

I'm eternally grateful to Five, for 1) broadcasting every single episode of BW a few years ago, making me a much wiser man. Oh, and 2) for playing non-stop soft porn when they first started out (halcyon days).

I only wish they'd show BM.

Do ya remember the excitement of reading the tv guide for 1st jan 2004, where, having just seen Nemesis part 2, there was the possibility that they'd printed "Wars", but really meant "Machines"?

And the deflation it caused when actually watching the episode concreted the re-run experience.

But, having missed the first episode previous time around, I was elated.

Just for a short while.

Nope. I was all ready to record it the next week, but was p*ssed off to find that BW wasn't on anymore. The last episode they showed was the final one of season 1. (My brain totally FAILS to recall the title. GAH!)
