Grimlock (the Furman version - the cartoon Dinos all make me cringe)

Curiously enough, I've never had the toy of any of these characters.

So only one other person likes Bumblebee? I always loved him ever since I was a kid! In fact, all of my favorite bots are the same ones I loved when I was two.

I don't know if I'd say stronger, but the 'Cons certainly come off as more distinct than the Autobots. Even 'Cons with only a few issues of background exposure usually had a few distinctive character traits, but even some of the Autobots who got feature stories seemed boring and generic. I mean, compare the likes of Roadhandler, Landmine, Cloudburst or Dogfight with Ruckus, Quake, Fangry or Krok.

Aside from a few high-profile Autobots, the rank-and-file weren't very well-explored. Most of the Decepticons at least had a few moments where they showed some depth...possibly because there were far fewer Decepticons to be crammed into the stories, so the writers could afford to give them more panel time?
