Muchas gracias to Mob for the Sig, proving why he's called 'King'.
The "i" in "Señior" from "Señior's Covenant" is intentional and part of a stupid & cheesy inside joke from '02. Thank you for your concern.

Apparently Unicron does propel himself using a rather bizarre sorta time-space warp.
It would be logical to think that it might have something to do with his long hibernation, and carving out a new body for himself. The main point being that his energy-mass body is gone, he left it when he beat up Primus on the astral plane. That one's just a theory of mine tho.
(note the humongous black hole errupting from Uni when destroyed btw, Impy.)
Acctually, thanks to some new comic-material we do know, or atleast it's a clue that yes, he's not in full power in EOE. Straight from the man that made him a god, Simon Furman.spiderfrommars wrote:Is there any evidence that his powers have been weakened since then(through Primus' meddling)?

We'll be okay then. Apparently all we have to do is explode a seemingly small spaceship full of about 100 energon cubes, and that will be enough to push Unicron away from the Earth. It also seems to stop massive tidal waves just a few miles from shore.jboyler wrote:It's also interesting to ponder what effect Unicron's gravity would have on the Earth. Even if Unicron had a mass less than that of our moon, his mere presence would wreak havoc on our world. The tidal actions would be unprecedented and the gravitational field and magnetic poles of Earth would be in chaos. He might cause seismic damage, create huge tidal waves, and completely alter our weather patterns (at least temporarily)
Of course, even THAT didn't seem to damage little old Megatron, so perhaps Unicron is safe.

What are those panels from?
Is something like that even possible? Wasn't the whole "trapping him in a metal-strewn asteroid" bit based on the fact when said form materialized back into the physical universe it was, you know, trapped?Predabot wrote:The main point being that his energy-mass body is gone, he left it when he beat up Primus on the astral plane.

The new CYBERTRON COMIC! It's what you get if you join up the official TF Convention Club. Don't you ever visit the Archive man? That's how I learnt what it was about. (we all heard of it earlier, on many sites)Señior's Covenant wrote:What are those panels from?
It uses the nifty lil multiverse-theory, and as such uses ALL of the continuties, (similar to it's sister-comic TF:Universe did. I miss that comic...) You see panels from the Marvel Comic. To think that some uneducated swines loathed the convention comics by Furman & Dan Khanna...(Ok, Raiz & Guido pencilled a few issues too)

You may be right, I always thought it was like they both went into trance when Primus assaulted him mentally, hurling their minds into the Astral Planes, severing both of their minds from their physical-world bodies. Is something like that even possible? and when they materialized back, it wasn't into their light-bodies, but into METAL (& some various forms of rock probably, come on, all metal?). I believe some Marvel comics uses this line: "forever abandoning our light-bodies" or some such. Supposedly their bodies soon evaporated or somethin...maybe they turned into suns...
EDIT: Corrected, Autobloke, ya darn bloke!

Geology 101.
So... why would he need to consume anything, if his very existence is capable of erasing entire galaxies from existence? Surely all he'd need do is move around a bit and his work is done for him?
Wow. small sun. Just large enough for a continuous nuclear fusion reaction in its core, then?Impactor returns 2.0 wrote:they must be small stars? - like very small...
Our sun being roughly 10x larger than Saturn and 100X larger then the Earth.
No.
The Sun has a radius that extends approximately 1 million miles. That's about 250 times larger than the Earth's. So, volume-wise, the Sun occupies 625,000 times as much space as the Earth. Mass-wise, the Sun is approx. 10,000 times larger (being of the order of 10^24 kg, while the Earth is of the order of 10^20 kg).
Kind of like the way that in a nova, the white dwarf will suck the outer layers of its giant companion, but probably taking a slightly inward spiral attitude, so as to mop up the victim star in its entireity. Unicron wasn't in a rush.Im guessing maybe he sort of sits near them and sucks the erm stary stuff out of em...

ROCK, METAL, POP, FOLK, RAP - it's all good.
I KNOW that the metal would be in rock, oh Master Rebis, but I was just 'gahhing' about the seemingly ALL rock inference. Anyway, it's been changed now, so I'm happy see?
You shall be the scientific advisor on my 'movie of the book', should it ever get made.

I dunno'. Ask Furman what his thought with that was. I suppose that if Uni does move around with space-warp, that an object his size warping space might have implications on things? I know zilch about such things.Rebis wrote:So... why would he need to consume anything, if his very existence is capable of erasing entire galaxies from existence? And I notice we're drifting off topic here. Come on people! Only a few more posts are needed to clear up everything in this thread..

Because there`s no fun in that. And I`m guessing as a God, he sees it as ritualistic to consume the Universe than warp it out of existence.Rebis wrote:So... why would he need to consume anything, if his very existence is capable of erasing entire galaxies from existence?
