Now this, is something I've been thinking about. It makes some sence, as he's really the highest ranking Autobot, and he does have some of the highest head-module count, even tho we all know he begs to the Matrix not to.
We know many Autobots are scared sh*t-less of Megs, and rightly so. Now, most high-ranking cons are too megalomanical, egocentric, or downright crazy to be scared of Prime, but what of the others?
Logically they should be scared since really, he can easily break anyone of them in two, without straining a single servo.
We know that the little green fella in the UK story wasn't afraid at all, and shot prime with eyebeams, only to be thrown like a little wig and utterly smashed. (ok, speared more like it, very, very deactivated still).
But in the Cartoon, (I can hear the groans) in the Ultimate Doom methinks, when Megs has created a simple faksimil of Optimus in order to test the loyalty of the human slaves, that when Screamers and the other Seekers see him they of course look stunned, but also a bit scared really. Screamers says in a rather low & shaky voice: "Optimus Prime...prepare to fire on my mark.."
Now granted, Screamers has a tendency at times to be the worst little chicken p*sser ever born, when things that he wasn't counting on happens, but it would seem as if he's not alone in being scared out of his trunks by Prime.
What do you all think of this? General fear/respect or just perhaps a few chickens.

I think this one goes with such questions like "Is Megatron arrogant?" and "Is Xaaron a good leader?" in the resounding 'duh!' area.
Obviously the rank and file Decepticons are not going to want to have to face down the Greatest Autobot Ever. Hell, even the top-tier Cons know better than to take him lightly. My memory is fuzzy at the moment, but it seems that somewhere, Shockwave made a mention that an out-of-control Prime would be "unstoppable" or something in that vein.

Not exactly the same thing obviously, but when Primal went nuts (monkey nuts) in the BW episode 'Gorilla Warfare', he took down all the preds with ease - it's only his peace-loving nature that prevents him from kicking ass effectively at any other time. I'm assuming that Prime would be the same.
Anyway, most Decepticons - apart from the high-rankers - are either cowards, too dumb to worry, or downright nuts and oversure of their own abilites. They react to prime depending on these qualities.

I think if Megatron is near by then some of the punk Decepticons would have a go, I think even Rumble would have a crack at the big bot.
Then again, also within the cassettes I think Laserbeak holds no fear of Prime. I think he knows Prime will give him a kickin' if he catches him, but I think Laserbeak would be to sure of his abilities to worry about that.
Of course, Prime would give him a right royal slapping though.

I think it was Megatron, it was in the Marvel series close to the point that Predaking was set on Megatron. (But I'm probably wrong.)My memory is fuzzy at the moment, but it seems that somewhere, Shockwave made a mention that an out-of-control Prime would be "unstoppable" or something in that vein.

It was Shockwave during Prey - based on what he'd seen of Prime in Distant Thunder.Darth Aux wrote:bobaprime85 wrote:I think it was Megatron, it was in the Marvel series close to the point that Predaking was set on Megatron.
