If true, as Torsten said...
UGH. UGH. UGH.
Don't trust in the slightest that this has anything to do with paying off debts.
As for "given"...

"The publisher was Dreamwave but (the book) now is being published by a company called DreamEngine. As of today, our records still confirm that this item is to be released in early September. The original publisher of the company Dreamwave is now no longer in business, but the rights to their existing product have been given to DreamEngine."
As fans would also be aware, DreamEngine is the company Pat and Roger Lee formed in the final days of Dreamwave.

This would seem to indicate that Dreamengine has the rights to publish new TF material, wouldn't it?
Personally, if Pat Lee winds up with the rights again, I'm done buying TF comics. Until guys like Don, Guido, Simon, Joe, etc are paid off, at least.

Can't help myself. Better a DW comic than NO comic. (covers head and waits for vicious fallout from TF forum).Karl Lynch wrote:See this is why imo we never got especially good material from DW and how they were able to carry on screwing their employees over and their customers. People bought the stuff anyway.
Like I said: completist. I know it's wrong, but I've also got a ton of Pokemon cards here that demonstrates my inability to stop collecting something once I've started.
I need professional help. (goes to find 'massage' advert card from public phone box)

it's like brendocon when i told him i only collected transformers i liked, as oppose to all of them. the general reaction was O_O
not as bad as people who vote labour "cos theyre gonna win, no point voting for anyone else if they won't win..." god almighty!

God, I hope I'm not normal. Those people are dull.Karl Lynch wrote:see this is where i really wish i were more normal so i could understand this sort of thing.
If it helps, I want loads of different DVDs, but I can't afford them all. This makes my completist nature go nuts. Of course, the reason I can't afford them is that I'm buying TFs.
Not going to buy all of Galaxy Force though. That'll make my head explode.

Heh, a guy offered lots of Energon toys on our hungarian TF topic, but only if one person buys all of them... he was shocked that we don't like all of Energon and went on a little rant that we are "toddlers" and "not real collectors". We told him to bugger off, no-one's gonna buy 2 Demolishors and a Tidal Wave to get some combiner limbs... bloody Star Wars trader, he was. Used to completist and fanatists.Karl Lynch wrote:see this is where i really wish i were more normal so i could understand this sort of thing.

Hey! I'M a completist (but trying not to be anymore). Of course, this meant that I already HAD loads of Energon stuff and didn't want to buy it again. Did this guy join the board just to flog his crap? Butthole.
Also, Pat Lee will find it very hard to sell much (or even get employees, I'd imagine) after all of this bad publicity. Hopefully he'll have to sell all his shiney things (no, not the multiple incentive covers of his comics) and sack his skanky ho bitches to pay the bills.
If anyone sees him at a convention - or in the street - stick your finger in his friggin' eyeball!

Most of the really rare stuff in this fandom is awful. Like the Takara 'Primus' release.
If he can find "real collectors" to take that, more power to him... he'd have more luck with the toddlers, I suspect. They usually want everything and now.

Yeah... he was suprised 'cause I didn't wanted the E. Megatron, told him I was waiting for E. Galvy.
Worse yet, when he came up with Aerialbots and Terrorcons for sale, I told him I was only interested in Storm Jet and Treadshot. "No, all or nothing" What kind of an *** is he? Fortunatly I joined forces with another fan who bought the other half of the stuff... but this is really ridiculous way of trading.
Oh and he forgot to mention in emails the toys were missing the cards...

It's why they can screw people over and why the Glaziers are not worried about the current core of Man Utd fans.Karl Lynch wrote:See this is why imo we never got especially good material from DW and how they were able to carry on screwing their employees over and their customers. Sheep mentality effectively lets business' rule over us with such ease.

Well, if it were to be published in sweden I sure as h*ll would buy it. Alas, as the filthy TF-fans here in sweden couldn't support the mag, (it stopped in the middle of TWW 1.. GRRR!!) it wont be.
I had to read the entire remainder of the DW-transformers electronically, and if this will be published I will no doubt read it too. Cudos if it's released, I just want to read a good TF-story. hehehe
