Well if the passenger can't get to the weapons, as with checked baggage, then they can't use them to hijack the plane.Darth Aux wrote:You can't take G1 megs on an aeroplane but...........
Firearms and starter pistols may be transported in checked baggage so long as they are unloaded and declared to the airline.

Unless they have a remote-detonatable bomb in their luggage.Bouncelot wrote:Well if the passenger can't get to the weapons, as with checked baggage, then they can't use them to hijack the plane.Darth Aux wrote:You can't take G1 megs on an aeroplane but...........

Damn, no Targetmaster Nebulan toys for me on the 'plane then.
Surely they can tell the difference between a toy gun and a real weapon? Or is it just that they don't want to take time to investigate such things and just blanket-ban them as a cop-out?
And if it's a case of a toy gun actually being a REAL gun in disguise, don't they realise that any toy - in fact ANYTING - could be a weapon in disguise? Weren't there bombs in the heel of shoes once?
Poor old Megatron. His G1 alt mode is shafted every which way these days. It'll be Galvatron and Shockwave having to cross the Atlantic on a boat next.
Hey! Yeah - does the toy gun ban extend to modes of travel other than airplane? I mean, how did my G1 Megatron reissue GET from Japan to me if not by 'plane?
