Nice work, some cracking questions, I always enjoy the interviews you guys get. Cheers to the Admin staff and the Professor. :)

And Guido is someone I don't really know that much about, so it was extra-nice to read. Liked hearing the little things, like his influences and stuff like that.
Bit weird about the Movie adaptation tho...the chap they got to translate that must be a miracle-worker!

Oh crap, they were making the TFTM suits as the ultimate weapon against the TF's?

Wouldn't a updated and massproduced version of centurion be alot cooler?

Guido Guidi has made some cool art, but once again things got messed up by Pat Lee

But didn't he specifically say that he didn't get as many corrections at all as other artists? :??: Or are you simply referring to the sad demise of Dreamwave....
....chill...

I always loved his art on Armada and Energon... funny, but frankly his new Don-ised work feels cheap. His armada/energon style was close to Geoff Senior's: easy to draw, streamlined designs with faces that were robotic yet full of emotion at the same time.

I think he should have stucked with that style... of course DW did have pressure on him. Btw, he did most of the Energon Boxart, didn't he? Divebomb, Perceptor, Signal Flare, I'm sure those are his work.

What I really liked about Guidi was that he was a good storyteller. His artwork was easy to follow, like a natural flow from panel to panel. I could never tell what was going on with Pat Lee or even Don sometimes.

I think that he was proud of his Don-ish work for #12. It seems like it was helping him as an artist which is probably why he didn't complain much. Sometimes a little stretch is good.
