i was watching a ep of the show(the berry first one) and i saw YELLOW CLIFFJUMPER!! can you beilieve he was on the toon(obviously it was a mistake) but i thought it was funny anyways just had to share that one.

Btw, ifyou watch closely, in the scene of TF The MOvie where Perceptor is in the threnches, you can not only see Swoop(who's not supposed tobe there) but what I believe to be a yellow Cliffjumper in the far back of the screen.

Snarl replaces Sludge in his scenes, the "Fort Max leg" is actually Swoop's leg, and the Ironhide is a miscolored Reflector.

Ah, the glorys of animation-error.

I wonder how TF measures up on the error-front compared to other 80's cartoons?

its definatly not bumblee since a moment later when prime says for hound to scout out the decepticons clifjumper is standing right next to hound when he says he wants to go too and ill have to wacth the movie again to see that scene with perceptor(i dont remember him being a trench though was this statement for real?)

MOTU had tons too... Still, nowdays the new cartoons have little or no animation errors at all. Not that I'm complaining, but it was fun to discover the little errors. (The large ones were truly annoying, like Megs talking to two Starscreams standing next to each other...)

In the early days you could get Cliffjumper and Bumblebee toys in red and yellow. If this was an early cartoon, and the animators were basing it on the toys, could this be an understandable error on this occasion? Not that I wish to appear to be defending them........

*adopts a 'Ralf Wigam' voice* - my Cliffjumper is yellow, but his legs are loose and sometimes fall off

thats possible i spotted yellow cliffjumper again today in "transport to oblivion" right before bumblebee drives up we see him standing.

Perhaps it's like with those purple or yellow Decepticon jets that were all over the early episodes, which were never explained, but we just assumed were seekers that didn't always go on missions (well, that's how I rationalised it). Perhaps there WERE yellow Cliffjumpers and red Bumblebees (a RED bee!?!) on the Ark and we just didn't really see them:

Prime considers: "Hmm... important mission coming up. Best send my most skilled spy. Now should I use the yellow Bumblebee (the one that stands out in a crowd 'cos he's bright yellow) or my red Bumblebee? No, red Bumblebee still has all those toilets to scrub in the crew quarters. I'll just send the annoying yellow one so that he can get captured/blown up again and we'll have to go rescue him. Hey, it'll be fun..."
