Eh, there are a handful of people on practically any board with an IQ above the cube root of their post count...

"When you have to deal with Steven Spielberg things happen according to his schedule."

Tactful much?

"When you work with a busy 'name' director things of necessity have to fit into existing schedules."

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm afraid DM comes across like a complete **** to me.

I don't think Don is that used to having this many people, who aren't involved in the business, asking him direct questions.

He comes off being "unpolite" because he doesn't realize that the people he is talking to don't understand how the movie business works.

He gets asked stupid fanboy questions a lot.

I don't blame him and will continue to give him the benefit of the doubt.

People who argue that Grimlock should be stupid and that Megatron should shout retreat near the end of the movie :(

He mentioned 'getting his hands on other properties that had been mentioned on the boards'. Do you think he is refering to TF related properties for the movie of other things? Whats likely to be mentioned on TF boards.....Death's Head? :eyebrow:

Don't think so; he's more likely just playing up to a "straight-talking" stereotype.

I actually visited the forum to find the people he mentioned (oh, the pain, the pain...) ...rummaging through fanboy/cartoon garbage, I found that...

drumrolls...

one of the guys he mentioned, (spacemonkey is the nick, methinks) is actually well-versed in the UK/US comics and quite intelligent, so there is hoping.

I still say, though... FURMAN FOR SCRIPTWRITER!
