Energon Episode 'Distribution'. Wha?

Post by Autobloke » Mon Mar 14, 2005 7:37 pm

Just caught the new run of Energon that started in UK last week and been entirely confused by the episode 'Distribution'. I got a list of episodes from:
http://www.tvtome.com/TransformersEnergon/eplist.html
which has suddenly added the episode as no. 44, but it obviously doesn't belong there (the Autobots and Decepticons take time out from moving/stopping Cybertron going through a warp gate for a quick go on their PS2?).
I did originally think it was one of those episodes that have two titles, but now I don't know. Also the list stated that the last episode (53) was unaired in America - is this 'cos it's been held over for a another run of episodes (unlikely) or because of unsuitable content (like that Scorponok one - ep 33 I think)?
I'm happy to see 'Distribution' as it was a funny episode (much better than that 'racing' one from earlier), but now it's futzed up my running order recorded on blank tape.
Anyone know what's going on?

well is only a special peisode for the 500th episode in japan.i see it in superlink and is really funny. specially the "fusion pose" of snow cat and demolisher hahaha and how prime loses beacause he do a powerlink with omega supreme and lands out of the ring hahaha in that episode prime looks like sailor moon with all that secuences. but the catdog powerlink of cliffjumper and prolw hahahaha
this episode is only an extra and dont try to fit it in the series...unless you want a fusion dance of demolisher and snow cat

That's okay then. Thanks.
If only the other episodes were so entertaining, eh? :D

Toonami - but it's back to the bog-standard Energon eps now.

Bad luck. Then again, most of the episodes are a bit suspect storywise - today Ironhide cried 'cos his fanclub of annoying 'bots got wasted. I was happy about that becuase the trio talked in rhyme and finished each other's sentences - it was like Wheelie in triplicate. I think they only came into the show to be killed.
I may not be an enormous fan of the Energon show (or the Armada one for that matter), but I'm a true TF fan and annoyed 'cos the series isn't out on DVD in the UK yet, and we only got about five eps of Armada on disc here either. Still, that pales in comparison to the fact that Beast Wars and Beast Machines aren't on disc at all here 'cept for a few BW eps.
I'm sure you must have Energon on disc somewhere you can buy/import from - cheaper than buying a new set-top box. Still, you aren't missing much on the TF TV front.

Wheelie in triplicate, ouch.

I really did not like Armada, watched 2 eps. One where a motorcycle TF (Axer??) turned out to be a traitor whilst on the moon? Another I can't remember, probably best I don't.

Oh well here's hoping mainstream gets GF.

Perhaps it's best that you DON'T watch Energon then - it's exactly the same but with 3D cell shaded TFs. And whiney humans who continually save the day.

Yes, but Kicker's actually useful. The kids in Armada weren't.

Kicker whips out his energon sword (ooer) and attacks Scorponok. The really annoying thing is he actually poses a threat to a supposedly powerful Transformer - as if.
And exactly how much energon detection has Kicker done recently? If the latest episodes are to be believed, there's been Super Energon under the surface of Cybertron all along - didn't sense THAT did he?
