The art looks great. Even in black & white it's stunning.

The plot behind the images (fembots beating up manbots) is downright execrable.

As usual, we have great art trying to cover up a crap story. Makes me oddly-strangely pleased DW imploded before we had to be subjected to the Fembots. Also, it shows how wasted Don's talents were, considering the stories he had to draw.

You know, DW may not be everybody's cup o' tea, but let's be honest: there were plenty of stinkers in the Marvel era too.

Sunstorm may have sucked, but he was better than The Mechanic.

Micromasters may have been abysmal, but at least they weren't wrestling stars.

Being so terrible that its remembered 20 years later is (in my opinion) not such a bad thing.

Marvel put out some guff, ergo that gives the new boys the opportunity to learn from Marvel's errors.

They didn't.

Plus at least you could actully tell what was going on in Marvel stories - even the crap ones. DW never even mastered the basics of putting together a comic (e.g having an editor).

And anyway no one is saying anywhere that they think Marvel put out all good stuff.

Actually I preferred their treatment in Marvel.

People here don't have a problem admitting that some of the Marvel stuff was crap y'know. Doesn't mean Dreamwave should get a free ride.

The guy who put them up sharank the images, but if you could get the orginal scans its great for all you budding colourists to have a go.

Micromasters was a good idea gone wrong, with abysmal art. Too bad, I like the little Bots, and we won't bee seeing them again after this fiasco for sure.

Still, King Con wasn't that bad, With some rewriting and propably playing on Skullgrin's personality and downgarding Roadhandler's resentment of authority a bit, it could have been much better.

Sunstorm was in what, 6 issues? The mechanic had 2... sunstorm had longer sucking than the mechanic who was all sucked out much quicker...

well, to be honest, i've not bothered with the micro miniseries, so i can't comment... again though, from what i've heard, the miniseries had 4 issues of suckage compared to 1 issue of wrestling suckage...
