On the subject of the Last Autobot and the Matrix, if the Matrix we see in G2 isn't the one that had been used against Unicron in EoE, does that mean that the Last Autobot replaced Primus at the core of Cybertron? Seems logical enough, but would that also mean that the Matrix Thunderwing messed with.... how can I phrase this correctly.... would the differences between the two Matrixs provide some insight as to why the original Matrix was corrupted? I'm not particularly making sense right now.
