Yeah, I have to agree with Spider. G2 covers on the whole rocked.

And I'd have to say that US 58 is by far my least favorite cover as well.

As for the Matrix Quest comics, when you're writing about crime noir or whale fishing in Transformers, it's going to come out odd looking.

And the casual fan looks at 65 and goes, "Where the hell is Grimlock, and where did this glaidator come from?"

#20 of the us as well as the uk reprint covers (sorry that art did,nt move me) and the g2 ones sucked(neck cables what up with that? lol!!)

Pretty much all the cover versions he'[s done have been awful. Sweet Dreams, Tainted Love, Like a Virgin...don't get me wrong, I like MM but all those covers make him sound like a cheap goth Pop Idol doing karaoke

Starscream has stolen buck rogers helmet there.

I actually like the galvatron image, it early work, but it has nice detail in painted kind of way.

Ok im gonna go out on a limb here, but I just dont like the G2 artwork, its all stretch joints and od dimensions, the shadows are well over the top, and everythings gone spiky, its very cyber punk or somthing. alot of fetish artwork is similar....

its badly composited ? its almost as if both TF, were drawn without the other in mind, and then the foreground building and such were also added as an after thought.
