Over the last 25 years the Transformers have appeared in media from the exquisite to the scribbled and been licensed to the responsible and the... Pat Lee. Discussion of all the branches of TF media within!

New order.

It was that very same issue that made me prefer the comic over the cartoon back then.

Technically #134. Didn't subscribe until #268, but quickly got hands on a selection of Collected Comics and annuals...

And then I found the web. And stayed.

UK 1. Then I lent it to a pal and it promptly disappeared. As did issue two. After this I learnt my lesson and he had to buy his own. Still got all of the rest (issue 3 smells a bit damp now, and the paper is SO thin), except for one I missed getting for some reason. It had Ultra Magnus and a firing squad about to shoot Prime on Cybertron for being a 'Spy'. Luckily I borrowed it off of that friend I mentioned earlier so I could at least read it. Should have kept that issue and seen how he liked it...

It's two actually, a copy of US #75 (On The Edge Of Extinction) and TF Universe #3 that I bought at a church garage sale.

But G2 #4 was my first my first new TF issue.

Finnish version, 1 1987 (the movie mini, all three issues) when I was visiting my cousins. Took me years before I gave a second change to the comic. :(

scary? i thought this was my first.

But I have recently discovered i have a very badly damaged (pages missing half a cover etc) issue 28 - maybe i even had somthing before that?

I seemed to have it on weekly delivery by newsagents by #32 tho - I think mum thought if i was reading it was good for my education.

UK #60 is the earliest issue I got, though that was off somebody who's mother was clearing out their stuff.

Got a load sent over to me from my dad's cousin (was ex-pat at the time), but they got slung after one of the cats decided to do something unpleasant to them... It was late 100s that I started getting them, I think...
Grrr. Argh.
