I mean, seriously! It's such good fun. I watched it last night for the first time. I loved the fact that there are only a few characters in it and I was just howling with laughter when Soundwave and Blaster were fighting accompanied with that groovy night club music!

Oh granted the storyline is pretty ****, but you've gotta love it:) That bit with Raul and his mates on the train.....I kept expecting Spider-Man to jump out and save them.
And surely Raul is a much better character than Spike! He even seems to have a downer on Tracks. You never saw Spike putting his "Auto-Buddies" down.

im betting auto-bot was only an excuse to get blaster and soundwave to fight(not that you could with the toys blaster was almost twice soundwves size! my only real problem with that ep is that they never told os what the "cons" were planning sure thay were brainwashing people to do thier dirty work again but what the heck were they building anyway?

Judging by Megatron's daftness in building things he probably was just building.....a nightclub.....maybe he had finally snapped.

Megatron: "I shall build the ultimate nightclub. When the Autobots hear the tunes from within they shall not be able to resist a dance"

Starscream: "And then we kill them whilst they are dancing?'

Megatron: "No. They dance themselves to death."

LOL Megatron is Dr. Evil and Starscream is Scott.

Auto-Bop was an OK episode, my favorite part was "ALL TALK NO SHOCK" line by Soundwave. Starscream came off a liiiiiittle more high pitched than average in this ep. Many of the "later" 1985 eps were this way.
