Primus in Cybertron... indeed!!!

Post by BB Shockwave » Sat Feb 19, 2005 4:48 pm

From the Hasbro announcement:
CYBERTRON, home planet of both TRANSFORMERS factions, is in danger. In order to save it from certain destruction, OPTIMUS PRIME will lead the AUTOBOTS on an intergalactic scavenger hunt to lost planets to find four ancient CYBER PLANET KEYS. But MEGATRON and the nefarious DECEPTICONS will be hot on their heels, trying to steal the CYBER PLANET KEYS and harness their power for evil. These four CYBER PLANET KEYS are the AUTOBOTS only hope, as they have the power to unlock CYBERTRON itself, and make their home planet into the one TRANSFORMERS robot powerful enough to shut down the black hole that threatens the entire universe!
So, Primus IS Cybertron here as well (wonder if they will use Don's fabulous design?) and sadly, since Unicron is yesterday's news, he'll more likely battle a black hole. Or a giant Starscream with a crown.

Still, with all these characters I can't help but wonder how cool the comic could be... or would have been.

I think the series has so much potential, more than could ever be explored in the inevitable 2 years before the next series.

AH well...

Your both right. I wonder if Armadaverse will ever get anywere near the kinda fan-fiction treatment that G1 has gotten.

Oh, and I absolutely love the Cybertron packaging, it's so cool. And the toys themselves, I'm not going to be called a heretic if I say that some of them look even better than Galaxy Force for some reason? :o

Er, is there a difference other then King Starscream?

Btw, I hope the small Screamer will come out here as well. AS much as I like the mold, I'll not pay that much for it.

My to buy list is so far:

Skids
Red Alert
Nitro Convoy
Hot Shot
Vector Prime
Dirt Boss
Scattorshot

Umm, we've known Primus was in Cybertron for practically the entire run of Energon.

Ever since they showed the flashback to when a young Kicker discovered him, after fleeing from Prime and falling down a hole.
