Something occurred to me. Would such Transformers be exclusively animal in their alt. modes? Could there be a non-creature techno-organic alternative mode on post BM-Cybertron?
Thoughts?
Thoughts?
Muchas gracias to Mob for the Sig, proving why he's called 'King'.
The "i" in "Señior" from "Señior's Covenant" is intentional and part of a stupid & cheesy inside joke from '02. Thank you for your concern.

What about the less than obvious examples of living ships in Babylon 5 and Farscape? Has any other series done a good job of living space vessels?
Now that I think of it, are space vessels the only example repeatedly used?
Hmm, techno-organic car... ...?

Yeah, that crossed my mind, but I didn't mention it cause, well, it's kind of disappointing. In that the only such entities ever seen are multiple living space ships and a video game in one movie. Not counting the transforming populace of Techno-organic Cybertron, of course.
Hmph.

'Tin Man' ship from Star Trek TNG - that seemed to be exclusively living metal, which is a departure from techno-organic. I don't think it was a ship's computer or anything. Or am I remembering this all wrong?
Not even sure why I resurrected this topic - just flicking through old stuff. It's not frowned upon here is it?

We sort of got Transtech with Armada, though it was heavily modified. Megatron, for example: http://tfarchive.com/fandom/transtech/o ... Megs03.jpg is definitely the same bot, but his Transtech body is a much better design.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

Wow! I totally didn't notice the similarity before. Good eye.Metal Vendetta wrote:We sort of got Transtech with Armada, though it was heavily modified. Still want Transtech though. What do you reckon are the chances of it ever being revived as a possible new toy line? I mean, is it popular amongst TF fans? I certainly like it, and I don't think I've ever heard/read a completely negative comment on the designs.

Personnally, I think the designs are horrible. Completely over the top and funkily weird-lookin'. They took the design-elements of BM that were bad and multiplied it with 120.
I can see some of the designs working, but then they're going to need a lot of re-tooling, like Megatron had.
BTW, has the Minicons noticeable been mentioned? Apparently a lil' robot-race had been in the works for some time.
The Transtech-Primal design is one the least appealing to me.

I just finished rewatching some of the old cartoons on DVD, and it was the one with the BotCon 2002 documentary as part of the bonus features, which included an interview with Aaron Archer.
Anyway, long story short, he said that since it was concieved as a continuation of BM, and instead they chose to "reset" the line and go back to basic vehicles with Armada, he doubts we'll see anything more from TransTech.
