Write a Cartoon Episode!

Post by Best First » Mon Feb 07, 2005 12:53 pm

Inspired by Brend's The Deceps as Pops Star's idea...

All episodes must include:

At least one bad plot device
Starscream being annoying and rubbish
Spike being annoying and rubbish
The Decepticons retreating
An awful punch line

Go! Go! Go!

Megatron wants to tap the energon reservers of earth by making hamsters work in poor condtions untill they die.
Spikes Gerbil is kidnapped by Starscream, as SS intends to you Gerbils instead of Hamsters in a ploy to have more power then Megatron.
the Autobots intervene, but the cons are to powerfull due to hamster fuel. Spike manages to free his gerbill, whilst SS is pre-ocupied telling megatron how he can rule the cons better. the Gerbills eat all the other hamsters, and the cons run off because trying to kill the beaten Autobots and the Gerbills will take to much power.
the moral is, Hamsters are as important as Gerbills

Ok,

Starts on earth, where megs and any number of discoloured seekers are fighting the Autobots some unknown reason in a park, Starscream shows how crap he is by being beaten up by Bumblebee as he chases him through trees in plane mode extremely close to the ground.
Suddenly a Comet hits the earth !!

But luckily for reasons only cartoon animators will know, it only creates the tiny’est of creator. Decepticons and autobots rush to inspect it when they begin to malfunction, it appears the comet was carrying teco flu *dun dun dunnnnnn*

The only Transformer not affected is Starscream due to the fact he got there late (due to hitting the tree) and spike... coss, well... he's always there. Starscream doesn't want to work with spike and visa versa and both storm off until they are informed that the meteor (yes it changes half way through) will explode if they don't move it. With the help of Wheeljack (who is always at base so wasn't affected) they find a cure to the flu and fix the other transformers, sadly that Wiley old megs has a cunning plan and instead of helping move the metior he and the deceps fire on the bots. *bang ,bang, pow, Boom*

. But suddenly the metor glows and the decepticons cack themselves and flee, the autobots do what they do best and fire the meteor back in to space.... properly in to another planet but as its earth, it doesn't matter. And prime give spike a scuffle of the hair to show his appreciation. the end.... oh and it turns out Quintersons did it ! they always do..

Rather good actually... i thought

Here's my crapfest........erm cartoon episode.

Scene 1:

The Autobots are in a amusement park and Spike is showing them all the different rides. Oddly enough all the Transformers seem to fit into human sized rides.

Scene 2:

Megatron is busy building a device in his base, he gets help from three miscolored Optimus Primes and one correctly Sideswipe. The device is designed to make people unhappy. With this device the Decepticons ofcourse want to take over Earth.

Scene 3:

Back at the amusement park we see that Bumblebee is enjoying the kids rides (ages 3 to 6). But he suddenly notices Laserbeak fly by. Ofcourse he immediatly warns Prime of this.

Scene 4:

Megatron looks at footage of the Autobots in the amusement park and says to Starscream "look, the Autofools are there too, what are the odds of that?". But he wants to test his device there anyway. Starscream then ponders why Megatron doesn't just steal a nuke and drop that thing on the park, Megatron then responds "that would make too much sense Starscream!".

Scene 5:

The Decepticons arrive at the amusement park and find it empty. Megatron then orders the Decepticons to investigate. All the rides turn out to be traps. Optimus Prime appears and shouts "let's kick some Decepti-can!". Megatron then uses his unhappy device on the Autobots, and they all start crying. Megatron wants to walk up to Optimus, but he trips over some random object. He ofcourse loses his unhappy device while he falls, the device is ofcourse conveniently caught by Spike who turns the Autobots back to normal.

Scene 6:

Starscream shouts "Megatron has fallen". Megatron then shouts "Decepticons retreat!". And all the Decepticons retreat (among them are 7 seekers colored as Starscream). Wheeljack then looks at the device and pulls a little switch. The Unhappy device now functions as a happy device. Optimus Prime ofcourse wants to use this device to bring happiness to all the park visitors from now on.....yay

The end.

An alien spacecraft (although, tbh, is there really any other kind?) crashes in the middle of a desert, which just happens to be right next to a construction yard. Teletraan-1 immediately informs Prime via a non-descript flashing light on a panel of equally non-descript flashing lights. Prime sends Bumblebee and Spike to investigate, due to the high probability of heavy Decepticon involvement.

Meanwhile, at the Decepticon base, Frenzy, on monitor duty, notices the Autobot activity, and tells Soundwave. Starscream overhears and sets off with Skywarp and Thundercracker, while Soundwave is informing Megatron, who is a bit miffed that he can't contact Cybertron. Soundwave puts it down to a cosmic storm, or something.

Needless to say, the 3 (or is that 5, or 7, or... hang on, where'd that yellow one come from?) Decepticon jets would have arrived at the crash site first, but they spend a few minutes taking potshots at Bumblebee, who careers into a nearby ravine, his tyre punctured. Spike then spends a few minutes in self-pity, while Bumblebee sends a distress call back to the Ark.

Prime scrambles the Autobots to Bumblebee's aid, and they all drive off, leaving the Ark totally unguarded.

Megatron, meanwhile, has already scrambled his remaining troops to acquire whatever technology the crashed spacecraft contains.

At the crash site, the Seekers are being kept at bay by the construction workers, despite the fact that their weaponry is unbelievably superior to the humans'.

The Autobots arrive and rescue Bumblebee, then set off for the crash site en masse, arriving simultaneously with the Decepticons. They have a bit of a fight, and for no apparent reason (in reality, Bumblebee called him an overgrown toaster, or something), Megatron sounds the retreat.

The humans thank Prime personally, much to the chagrin of Ironhide (who did practically all of the fighting!), and the Autobots approach the spacecraft.

At that very moment, the spacecraft door opens and Shockwave staggers out. He takes one look at the Autobots, and runs off to the Decepticon base, but not before transforming into spacegun mode and totally obliterating the spacecraft.

The Autobots return to the Ark, mission accomplished.

At the Decepticon base, Megatron is giving Starscream a right earful, when Shockwave arrives. Megatron asks what he's doing there, and Shockwave answers that he noticed the cosmic storm was interfering with comms, so he decided to shuttle over to tell Megs in person.

Megs gives Shockers a slap, berating him for leaving Cybertron unguarded, then moans quietly to himself, while curled up in a foetal position.

The End.

Galvatron and a miscoloured Menasor (who is the size of a regular TF), along with between 5 and 9 Sweeps of varying colours, discover a strange artefact in an asteroid field. When the shrunken Menasor-clone goes to pick up the object, he is shocked by an energy beam which renders him inactive. Galvatron gloats about how this strange device will help him rule the galaxy, picks it up and holds it above his head, laughing. Notice it doesn't harm Galvatron like it did with the Menasor dude. For some reason.

Anyway, not far away, Wreck-Gar and Wheelie see Galvatron doing this on a monitor in their ship, as if they actually had a camera crew filming it all, with zoom and everything. They decide to head back to Cybertron to warn Rodimus Prime, but are intercepted by Cyclonus and end up getting captured by the Sweeps.

Meanwhile on Cybertron, Rodimus is lamenting how he'll never be as good as Optimus was, Kup is being old and crochety and Arcee is cooing over Daniel. Spike runs in and tells them that he's picked up a strange signal on the long-range scanner. They follow him and he twiddles a few knobs on his console that bring in and out of reception an image of Wheelie, though thankfully his words are inaudible.

In the next shot Rodimus is shown operating the same console, which is now Transformer-scale. He turns to the Autobots and announces that it is probably a Decepticon trap and that he should go alone. Spike says that if Rodimus is going, he should go too, because, uh, he should go too. Daniel pipes up and says that if his dad is going, then he should go too, uuhm, too.

So Rodimus, Spike and Daniel get in an Autobot craft (the design of which we have never seen before) and fly out to investigate the transmission. Almost immediately they are set upon by the Sweeps and brought before Galvatron, who has Wreck-Gar and Wheelie hostage. Galvatron brings his new strange artefact closer to Rodimus, but Daniel breaks free and grabs it. There is a weak special effect, and all the Transformers in the room are turned into weird alien monkey creatures, while Daniel is turned into a giant robot. Hilarity ensues as they all retain their original voices, though they have to call each other by name a lot to distinguish between all the Welkercons.

Eventually Spike realises that the alien device must be some sort of DNA transference mechanism, so he whips out his trusty sonic screwdriver kit and starts fiddling with it. However, the Galvatron-monkey steals it from him (referring to himself in the third person while doing so, of course) and announces he will use the gizmo to turn the Decepticons back into their original forms. The weak special effect thing happens again, but when the wobbly pink and orange shapes recede it is the Autobots and Daniel who are back in their original forms - the Decepticons are still monkey-things.

Confused and angry, the Decepticon monkeys retreat, leaving Rodimus to ponder what happened. Spike says it was easy, he set the device to only work on good people. After all, it wasn't difficult to make a monkey out of Galvatron. They all laugh. A million season 3 viewers cry and want to kill themselves.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

Here's an episode I'd watch:

Toy Soldiers

The Decepticons work out a deal with an evil Japanese company to produce transformers toys that will siphon off the power from the household they're in. Starscream is upset that this figure looks nothing like him and complains about how its stupid for his figure to have stupid stickers for eyes. Upset that he's being laughed at he sends one of the figures to Spike knowing that the Autobots will discover the energy draining device implanted inside. They autobots put a stop to this plan but the toys prove to be so popular that all the kids are upset that they have to give them up. Fortunately, an American toy company offers to use the molds from the Japanese company and sell them throughout the world and give the Autobots' share of the profits to charity. The end.

The episode begins with the Autobots on a mission to a distant asteroid. Starscream intercepts them and shoots a missile at their space ship, which leaves the Autobots stranded on the edge of the galaxy. Starscream thinks that he can win the respect of the Decepticons by destroying Autobot city all by himself, so off he goes.

However, he finds that Autobot city isn't abandoned. Spike is there to defend it with the help of Wheelie. In fact, it turns out that the Matrix was left behind for Wheelie to protect, and with it he becomes Wheelimus Prime. Spike puts on his Headmaster gear, and so now Wheelimus Prime has two heads that finish each other's rhymes.

What follows is a two-hour symphony of violence and carnage which can only be likened to Dr. Seuss starring in Apocalypse Now while on PCP. Go ahead, try to get a visual.

Don Murphy calls it a wrap, but later Steven Spielberg will edit the episode to replace all the blasters and swords with walkie-talkies. He'll put his face on the DVD, which will include an interview with George Lucas talking about the magic of the underlying mythology of 80s import robot toy cartoons.

The end.

I have a plotline revolving around Starscream's quest for power. He creates a computer program know as 'Artificial Intelligence Disruption Syndrome' which effects all transformers - except bumblebee.

The effects are 'devestating'.

Him and Spike, plus Spike's brave 1 episode friend, 'cockney Mark' (voiced by dick van dyke) hatch a plan but need the help of the only other TF that doesn't have the 'A.I.D.S.' - the 1 episode tripple changer, Springer's brother Stall-bike (alt modes are motorbike and fruit and veg stall).

Stall-bike sacrifices himself, turning all his energon vegetables into a cure for all the other transformers.

The decepticons are regenerated first and all seems lost for the autobots - till cockney Mark persuades Spike to talk trash to Megatron, reasoning that he should take Starscream home and smack him instead of kill all the autobots.

Mark says most of the word, then Spike says: "Yeah!" really aggressively.

Ratchet and First Aid help get the sutbots fixed from A.I.D.S., whilst Sunstreaker quips to First Aid: "you're one kind of AID(s) that I couldn't live without!

The Decepticons have raided the offices of Dreamwave and have kidnapped Pat Lee, mistaking him for someone useful. The Autobots must save him, not because he is all that useful but because it's what they do, dammit!

Leaving Bumblebee and Spike to "keep an eye on things",
Pretty much every other Autobot races to Dreamwave's main office. Upon getting there they discover that the DW offices are really just a front for the selling of bad plot points which are typed up night and day by monkeys chained to hundreds of typewriters.

They free the monkeys and begin looking for clues to Pat's whereabouts. Meanwhile, back at the Ark, Spike and Bumblebee have managed to set off some sort of self-destruct sequence. Luckily, they've also managed to lock themselves in the Dinobot's cupboard. The Ark blows and takes both the idiots with it.

A resounding "oops" is heard worldwide at that moment. Rumble changes colours several times and Prowl becomes Bluestreak. California falls into a plot hole and is lost forever, and the Spotted Prairie Dog becomes extinct. Along with a few thousand Californians.

Meanwhile, Megsy is revealing the entirety of his energy-getting plan to the captive Pat Lee and the world via the magic of television. It makes no sense and bears a striking resemblance to every single plan he's ever had, but Megs is hoping it sounds impressive due to his excessive use of the phrases "suck this planet dry of EEEENERGGGYYYY!" and "MWA HA HA HA HA!".

Pat lets slip that he knows nothing about any energy. he barely knows what day it is. All he knows is he's late for his latest photo shoot.

Megs, enraged, throws him in the general direction of Starscream who goes on to deliver a "clever line" ("Die human" or similar) and stomp Pat under his bigass metal foot when the Autobots arrive to save the day.

Prime delivers his usual "Not so fast, Megatron!" line, Megs gasps "Prime!" like this hasn't happened a hundred times before, there's a lot of inneffectual shooting and the Autobots chase the Decepticons off.

Unfortunately, Pat survives. He asks Optimus how he knew where they were and what had happened. Bluestreak (now Prowl) goes into a long spiel of how through deductive reasoning he was able to decipher the clues at the scene of the kidnapping until Random 'bot With Toy Just Released On The Market #1 (Shitstorm?) reveals that he got bored and turned the TV in the office on at just the right moment. Cute moment with everyone laughing at Prowl (I mean, Bluestreak...), he delivers the stunningly unoriginal "yeah, well... it could have happened that way" line, and the ep fades out.

Now give me money!
