Hmm, sounds familiar... :)

Over the last 25 years the Transformers have appeared in media from the exquisite to the scribbled and been licensed to the responsible and the... Pat Lee. Discussion of all the branches of TF media within!

I'm a (not too frequent) reader of Fred Perry's Gold Diggers comics, and just yesterday these pages caught my eye... ;) (watch the script...)

Seems Perry is a trans-fan too... Especially love the part when the Mat... I mean, Jasper bounces off Sheila's head. That shoud have happened to Hot Rod, too...

Very nice.
Even though I have no idea what that series is!
I'd personally prefer it if a couple of slightly heavier and pointer things were dropped on Hot Rod's head, of course...

That kinda reminds me of the Transformers/He-Man homage issues of the Hackmasters comics. I need to dig those out, they were hilarious.

Gold Diggers - the comic that has more alternate realities and time travel then Transformers... :D

It's pretty much american manga mixed with AD&D elements, robots, Indiana Jones and of course, sexy girls... Explaining even the basic elements of the story would take pages.

Of course, at least Fred Perry writes AND draws the comic, and he succeeds in both, unlike Pat Lee did...

Which is a fairly common practice in Manga. This way the artist doesnt have to "guess" what the writer intended to do. Cause its the same person.

Heh, that really sounds scarily like Hackmasters. Weird.
I found links to the covers of the TF/He-Man issues I mentioned:

Thinking He-Man, then She-Ra...

Anyone ever thought Hordak could've inspired Death's Head?

Or was Furman too big for cartoons then? ;)
