Which Autobot/Decepticon do you think is the best warrior? And I dont mean just your favorite Tf, but someone with (comic, tv) proofs of it. If you say Seaspray (for instance) you have to support your "candidate" with some "historical data" he is the best warrior because he did .... in issue... and... or something like.

Comic Metroplex probably takes the cake, what with effortlessly destroying an entire army of Quints. Plus, he's about a mile tall.
If we're talking normal TFs, the question is a bit less clear. Bludgeon probably has the most skill, as he showed in the later G1 run. His physical abilities aren't much more than average, though. Scorponok probably tops out the strength catagory (he could rip pieces of Unicron off with his bare claws), but he's handycapped by his inner conflict. Grimlock's got the whole 'never give up' thing going for him, and he's massively powerful to boot. I'd probably give the prize to Jhiaxus, though; just the right mix of madness, skill and raw power to make him truly dangerous.

Despite the volumes of evidence to the contrary?spiderfrommars wrote:Magnus was constructed to be the 'Autobot's Greatest Warrior' so I'll go with him.
And Furman Blaster may yet impress us all if AoW ever concludes...

Autobots, Fortress Maximus, he's so darned big n powerfull that he beat Galvatron, and when Galvy was in super-mad-nutty-killing-spree-mode at that.
As for the cons, hmm..Shockwave. Not necessarily because of fighting-skill, but because of his excellent strategy and ingenuity. Such as blowing out the entire cave in one big blast in issue #4 of US Trans-Formers.

Decepticon: Bludgeon, no question. He who rose from being "The Pretender with a Skull for a face that's not Skullgrin" to being the leader of the Decepticons, not to mention the cajones he showed in WW2.
Autobot: Since no one has said him yet, I'm going to have to stand up for my boy Kup. Long lasting and dependable, like a good battery, Kup fights and lives to fight again.
Although I think an honorable mention should go out to Ratchet. He's offed Megatron thrice in the comics, you know. He even went so far to upheld the apparently ancient Autobot tradition of pushing Megatron through trans space portals. Plus he was the last guardian of Earth in DD JoeTF II #3, which I thought was at least a good plot.
