What I find weird is that sometimes during Survivors Skids has a faceplate, like the original Diaclone Honda, yet the toy Skids never had this as far as I know...so someone at Marvel UK must have had one of the early Diaclones to work from? Or just artistic license?
Personally I thought the Skids Survivors stories were the weakest, any TF story that boils down to fighting weird monsters from an alternate limbo dimension will never be that great. The Carnivac ones are among the best tho'

I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

Survivors were OK, although Impy and the Debris Massive were miles better.
Main problem I had with them was that Springer's Berk Factor increased a bit too much for my liking, and the only Wrecker to make it in (apart from Inferno who don't really count in my book) was Broadside, who I never liked.
I still think he's a **** come to think of it.

Oh yeah.snarl wrote:I liked him.
To be fair, he got manhandled by Megatron and Galvatron but lived to tell the tale.
That's got to be worth something?
He gets to wear a little gold star. The same type of little gold star that Prime, Magnus, the Dinobots, half the Earthbound Autobots and Soundwave get to wear.
Zombie chewin' on Broadside's head > Broadside

or indeed having anything in the way of characterisation.
hmm.
Survivors was a bit of a ropey premise tbh - but i like Carny. And Skids. Springer was a useless **** tho.

In Target 2006 we see the aftermath of Broadside and buddies beating up on fan-favourite Impactor...Best First wrote:i'm trying to remember him doing anything good... ever.
