Being Simon Furman

Imagine that you work for a small comics shop in a basement in Soho and one day while moving aside some Robot Masters in the stockroom you come across a small door that leads to a tunnel. Trembling with trepidation, you start to crawl down the tunnel, noting that it gets quite steep, and after a certain way in you find you're falling head first towards the unknown, and you close your eyes for the impact-

-but when you open them again, you find yourself sitting in front of a computer screen, open at a word processor, and the words "The Transformers" are at the top of the screen. You see your hands begin to type page after page of comic scripts for a Canadian company. As you get up to go to the kitchen you glance catch sight of "your" reflection, and you are inside the body of the impish TF maestro Simon Furman. You stay with Simon when he goes to make a cup of coffee, and when he goes to the lavatory later on. And then, just as suddenly as you arrived, you are pulled out of Simon's mind and dumped by the side of the A1, with some killer spoilers for Beast Wars.

You repeat the experiment, and find that over time you are able to influence Simon's actions. You discover that as you concentrate really hard on the character Impactor, Simon's hands start writing the character into his ongoing serial "The War Within", published by Dreamwave comics. You are delighted with your efforts at changing the face of Transformers history.

As a bonus, on a trip to Canada Simon is introduced to Chris Sarracini and Pat Lee. Seizing the opportunity, through your subtle and not so subtle influences over Simon, you manage to set them up to look like drug-dealing kiddly-diddlers, they are taken away by the mounties and never bother the fandom again. Simon takes over G1 and installs the artists of your choice. As you wake up beside the A1 that night it is with a new found sense of power and fulfilment. You scream triumphantly into the cold night air, for you now are a god in the Transformers universe. Raaaarrgghhh!

So now the big question. You now hold the power of life and death over all the Transformers, in several comic book series, from the War Within, to Beast Wars, Energon and G1 - Micromasters too, if you want. And next time you squeeze yourself down into that grubby hole in the wall below the Alternators' shelf and wake up in Simon's body, you will literally be able to write whatever story you want about whatever Transformer you want. Out of all the hundreds of robots at your disposal, who most needs their story told? More importantly, who would you kill off?
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

Don't you think that it would be smarter to take over Pat Lee or Sarracini?

I'd shamelessly orchestrate my ideal TF project, one that I don't think Mr.Furman would resist too much....

TRANSFORMERS: DINOBOTS

with a Flywheels solo back-up strip.

Kill off? That's a toughie....how about Fortress Maximus? As a bonus, his corpse falls on Circuit-Breaker.

Oh, wait.
Ironhide.

I would totally kill off Ironhide. Brain-module crushage and everything.

Frankly, I don't think anyone should know what goes on in their heads.....

Deaths? I'd have Shockwave just say "screw it" and crush every damn human he sees.
