whoes your fav incarnation of optimus primal and megatron? mine is optimal and the dragon megatron

The only Beast Wars toy I bought happened to be Optimal Oppy, so I guess thats my choice there, and for Megs, the original was fantastic.. So purple.

cool choices so far but i must inform you the first bw megatron was a croc and the first optimus was a bat(probably cause of batman and killer croc)

Are we talking toys or character wise?

As a character Megatron's greatest moments are definitely as he's in his TM body (season 2 -> almost end of season 3). For Primal I liked most how his character grew to leadership in season 1, so the original beast mode is my favourite one.

Toywise I like best of dragon Megatron, mostly because of the awesome dragon mode. If TM Megs toy had had better colours, it'd propably be my favourite.

With Primal it's more difficult, all the toys have good and bad sides. Optimal Optimus is propably the weakest of them (I don't like the vehicle modes). *flips a coin* original beast.

From a series point of view

Optimal Optimus is very impressive but I got the feeling that he only did something useful the first time he appeared then he was blasted many times, so I pick TM Optimus

TM Megatron, he said the best lines nad did the best scenes.

well i like the origional megatron and primal, but toywise i prefer the TM versions

Fave Optimus would have to be his Optimal Optimus version although I do like the monkey version of his TM body.

As for Megatron - hmmmm.....I think it's his TM form. I liked the original as well but I wasn't entirely taken with his dragon body. I thought his head (in robot mode) looked daft.
