Best G1 Volume?

Now that the G1 ongoing has reached six issues, I'm genuinely curious... which volume did you think was best?

And why?

Sunstorm vs. everybody.

Most of all, it tops 'War And Peace' having Figueroa on pencils instead of Lee. And it doesn't have Mick trying to squeeze every toy from first three years, attitude which turned 'WaP' into mess around 4th issue.
It also has nicer character moments.

Volume 3 wins the contest with volume 2. The contest volume 1 can only watch from aside.

For all its rubbishness, I enjoyed reading Vol2. But I like Vol3 a lot more.

I dunno, Volume 1 did do something very few other comics do, unite the fandom in hatred...

That's gotta be worth something...

How 'bout neither of them?

Vol.1 is better not spoken of...

Vol 2. Butchered well-known characters into blundering idiots (Optimus), mutes (Soundwave), clueless fools (Magnus) and general "blame-me-for-everything" janitors (Shockwave).

Vol.3 was much ado about nothing. 6 issues, and anyone knows what the big fuss with Sunstorm was about?

If I have to vote, I vote for Vol.3 - art wise, it was miles better!

Why is there no "They all need to be burned' option? Or a 'just go read War Within and Armada' option?

Oh, fine. Vol.3, cause it had that purty Don art.

I've gone for Vol 3. Mainly for the art, and less muddled story.

By the way, there's no 'none of the above' option because its one of those, 'if you HAD to choose one' type questions... Also I wanna see if theres any fans of vols 1 and 2 lurking.

On that I'm also tempted to vote vol 1, but Vol 3 has at least been fun.

Vol 3 so far has been leaps and bounds ahead of 1&2...but with the introduction of Nightbird, femmebots and all the crappy cartoon references Mick has planned I suspect it'll go downhill rapidly...
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

Quality wise, I would say The Sunstorm Saga.

Enjoyment wise, I think War and Peace was better It had more of an epic feel, gave secondary characters more of the spotlight, and was unique in script. And of course, it featured Shockwave as the main villian.
