Am I glad I decided to have a spliff before leaving the house this morning. Hqlf an hour earlier and I would have been right there.
Just got back from the Tube station, everything's locked down. Mobile phone networks jammed, had to go to a payphone to call my mom. [composite word including 'f*ck'].

I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

Anybody have any clue what the [composite word including 'f*ck'] is happening yet? Part of me thinks this has been prompted by the Olympics decision... some form of practical illustration of why London shouldn't have gotten it. *pushes thought to back of mind*
Good to know that folks are accounted for so far.
What about the Dans?

I'd imagine it's all to do with the G8 rather than the Olympics, but I guess that idea can't be put aside completely.
Radio is saying UK security is 'silent and unobtrusive' when asked why there were no cops at all the stations. Well there's laods of cops up here, they're guarding every major transport station for miles around Gleneagles and all significant buildings in both Edinburgh and Glasgow, including mine. A lot of metropolitan police are up here this week.
Jsut been told some wild rumour that there was a communication between Israeli intelligence(!?) and Scotland Yard shortly before the first explosion.
Also that there may be up to 3 buses hit.
Isn't Jetfire a Londoner too?
I've heard from a mate down there, he's stuck in his building basically.

Glad that so far everyone's OK...must be quite unnerving to live in a city where such things can happen...
To be honest I was expecting something like this after Hungary joined the USA's 'peacekeeepers' in Iraq, but I guess we are so insignificant the ALQUaida won't even send a novice suicide bomber here.

I think they have been threatening us, too, but I hope they won't bother.BB Shockwave wrote:To be honest I was expecting something like this after Hungary joined the USA's 'peacekeeepers' in Iraq, but I guess we are so insignificant the ALQUaida won't even send a novice suicide bomber here.
Good to hear nobody was hurt, hope those who weren't heard from yet are OK, too.

What can I say. I heard the news on the radio on the way in to work. Sorry to hear it guys. Glad to hear TransFans residents are still kicking, not so glad for the casualties and their families. Stay up.
Muchas gracias to Mob for the Sig, proving why he's called 'King'.
The "i" in "Señior" from "Señior's Covenant" is intentional and part of a stupid & cheesy inside joke from '02. Thank you for your concern.

Talk about poor timing (in relation to the announcement of the awarding of the Olympics to London just the day before). Nice to see everyone here all well and good though pity for the victims.
I hope this doesn't drown out the feelgood factor of the Olympics, though I certainly don't like the fact that this is came after a week of feelgood fun.

Glad to hear everyone is safe. Can't wait to here from Jetfire. (What about Denyer or Autobloke?) Our heart are with ya, guys.
