The Recreating Machine - new G0/G1 episode

Post by ydesir » Fri May 28, 2010 3:09 pm

Hello folks,

I'm very proud and happy to announce to you all the very soon release of my very first episode of the Transformers, which features several G0/G1 characters just like in the cartoons from 1984-1986.

The scenario is quite simple : after Wheeljack invented a Recreating Machine, the surviving Autobots including Optimus Prime have a flight on board of Omega Supreme towards a sanctuary landed on an asteroid.
After having retrieved their companions, they take them back to Earth.
During the return flight, Sky Lynx saves the day performing a refuel.
In the end, "the touch" by Stan Bush is played while the recreating machine restores the memory and body of 6 destroyed Autobots :
Gears, Ratchet, Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, Grapple and Trailbreaker.

The still alive Autobots who participate this adventure include :
Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Jazz, Ironhide (hello Ironhide), Perceptor, SkyLynx, Omega Supreme, Brawn and of course, Wheeljack.

That episode is dedicated to the memory of Henri Djanik, who played the role of Megatron in the original cartoon in France.

The beginning of the episode can be found at :

To recreate the Autobots (no Decepticon is involved here, they are supposed to rest in peace, once for), I used the POV-ray software which helped me to draw the Transformers.
If anyone is interested by this kind of project, I'd be happy to talk with him or her : ydesir@gmail.com. Indeed, I created povray scripts for every character, and those scripts are *very* precise : they allow to move the character's body, to transform most of ones, to open hands, etc. So if someone wants some help to create nice-looking episodes with 3D on a nicer way than with the 3D Studio Max standard, I'd be glad to share my work with him.

Best regards,

Yoann p.c.c. Hot Rod.

Best regards to all transformers fans,

Yoann Désir.
