Megatron Pencilled Portrait
Post
by Aardvark » Sun Jun 18, 2006 2:57 pm
While sorting the good stuff from the "Not So Good Stuff" in my portfolio I had to throw out a fair few life drawing portraits . I was about to give this chap the old heave-ho but then I started messing with it and ended up turning the portrait into a humanoid style Megatron. Anyway its nothing much but I might do more of these fleshy style portraits in the future.
Its done in pencil (Though I have to admit I don't like the look of my pencilled drawings on the computer and photoshopping to make it look better takes away from the natural look)
Anyway it’s nothing much but I might expand on the idea;

Fascinating portrait. Quite odd looking tho. I guess I myself would have rendered him a bit more dashing-looking. ^^ He's supposed to have fantastic transformers-genes isn't he?

I think may have originally a portrait of some Roman chap, I can't really remember still turning him into Megatron is slightly more productive than throwing it out.
Cheers for the feedback guys

People always descibe my face as the former when they really mean the latter
