The Impactor picture I did for the Transfest competition was pretty much the first time in 10 years that I'd put pen to paper, and I found that I actually still quite enjoyed drawing so I thought I'd have another crack. It's quite frustrating after all this time to see the image in my head, but not have the hands cooperate, but I guess that's what happens when you take such a long break (don't get me wrong-I was never going to win any awards, but I was producing better stuff than I currently am).
Anyway, why am I explaining all this to you, good reader? Because I have a very defeatest attitude, and I'm trying to convince myself to stick at this, and not give up the second things don't go my way. I'm looking on this stuff as my 'working the bugs out' phase.
